Latest bit of stupidity from Oz. They will be playing the third cricket test in Sydney, never mind the fact that they have, currently, three outbreaks of Corona in the city. One area of the city is in total lock down, literally shut off from the rest of the city by a draw bridge, as well as small pockets of the disease in other parts, but apparently having a few thousand people at a cricket match is OK. Is it any wonder Queensland is considering closing it's borders to NSW again.

The fireworks tonight are going to be another 'event', "please don't go and watch" says the NSW Gov. as if !!!! and then there will be all those luxury yachts from the Northern Beaches full of people in the harbour, but Gladys doesn't see a problem.

You know what mate I wouldn't mind if we closed the borders permanently!!

Must be a city problem london is the same. They think they are above everything and everybody the khants.

More crass stupidity from Glad, the Premier of NSW. There can only be thirty people at your outdoor function but there can be 19,000 at a cricket match.


(Currently, Queensland has thirteen active cases of Covid, all in quarantine and all travelers from overseas. Why the hell are they letting them in?)

They're letting them in because they are Australian mate. It does beg the question though when they were told last March that they should make plans to come home as soon as possible, why they still haven't?

I think the allowed capacity at the SCG is 24k but that's splitting hairs really 19 or 24k still far more than 30.

If you could see me, Eric, you'd be a little more compassionate when it comes to 'hair splitting'. Anyway, I have no sympathy for the bastard. THey should have come home long since.
 
Is everyone still complying wearing face nappies, social distancing and leaving your elderly parents to fend for themselves?
