I didn't see the match today, so can't comment too much.

I've just read the following on WLS match report. Anyone know what that was about, or was the outburst aimed at Warburton?

"The frustration was too much for QPR chief executive Lee Hoos, who aimed a foul-mouthed tirade from the directors’ box at referee Steve Martin as the officials left the pitch at half-time".

Can’t recall much wrong in the first half. We should have had a penalty quite early but it was one you rarely get.

    Warburton 0 - 8 Games

Wonder if there’s a new coach available at the Boxing Day sales?

I literally said a win against Norwich would be more damaging to us because it would save Warburton from the sack.

One thing I don't really blame him for is the signings. We know managers play little part in this. We don't know what options were presented, we don't know the circumstances behind any of the signings. Any signing we make is a gamble, its the nature of shopping in the bargain bin.

True, l don't blame Warburton for the signings and l and l'm sure everyone here has cut him plenty of slack because of the squad quality but having not won in such a long time, combined with getting too close for comfort with the relegation battlers, time has all but run out, so we need a quick fix and a long term cure.

Finding a half decent manager nowadays that will come to a club with little desire to invest will be a tough assignment.

We were playing 352 all right until all the late subs. Nico and Kane well forward. My comment about only needing a week was in reference to when we can bring in some goal scorers when the January window opens next week. Need some desperately. Finances suggest at best they'll have to be loans from PL., no idea who if Messi isnt available.

I watched the EFL programme last night to see the highlights of the game. Yet again our centre backs were nowhere to be seen when one of the inform Swansea players broke through to score the second goal. And as for the first...where was the marking.
I would have thought that the club would have researched who the Swansea form players are and made appropriate plans to stop them.
We did appear to have a couple of chances to score, but, when you are in he form we are it is no surprise that they are missed. I was pleased that MW attempted to change things with the subs but I just wonder whether (1) the board do not have anyone in mind to take over should they make a decision, (2) where the BOS saga is starting to affect everyone at the club. If this is so then put the boy in the reserves. Whilst I do not know what he is being advised, if I was his agent I would be telling my client to showcase his full range to talents to enable a move to the biggest club or one that can further your career the most because your head appears to be somewhere else at present, (3) whether out of work managers have been approached but no one is that keen to due to financial restraints?
When MW was given the job, I was hoping that he would use the methods that have served Middx's finest so well and help turn our fortunes around. I would also like to see the possession football we play have an end result because keeping the ball restricts the opposition from scoring and yet we appear to constantly lose concentration and concede. Is the personnel not listening to the manager, tactics are they too confusing? Is it lack of leadership?
I realise we have players still learning their trade at QPR, some of whom have only been with the club a very short while but we do need 1 or 2 experienced pros to come in and help turn things around.

Warbs Warburton keeps going on about us missing chance after chance. I know I was bored and a bit distracted but I must have also been watching the wrong game.

And the 1 or 2 need to be goal scorers.

For the 2.nd goal Dickie was caught upfield after his attempted pass to Chair was too short and intercepted by Grimes who put a great ball inbetween and behind Cameron and Barbet and where their striker was quicker than both.

We know we haven’t been addressing defensive frailties; nor our inability to create/finish scoring opportunities.

But one thing that has been around for a few seasons now is our lack of strong leadership on the pitch. We need a Derry figure that can really lead individuals and get the direction of the manager through to the team.

I thought Cameron might do it, but it seems not. Dickie seems an obvious one, but he’s not team captain, so he may be held back. Otherwise in a team of youth we definitely lack a leading presence/figure.

I have been banging on about the club captain for a while now.
Cameron and his support of Trump, will not go down well with our young black players. Even if nothing is said overtly...it is not a good mix.
Waarbs first mistake was making him club captain.

He is not a leader on the field either....having had the priviledge of going to see them twice during "non-lockdown"....you can hear Dieng everywhere...he has a voice....but it was Dom Ball who was marshalling the troops in the centre...and also Dickie and Nico talk. Cameron very little.

Cameron has lost even the speed he had last year.....and he Barbet and Dickie make a very static defence

I really doubt that supporting Trump or not has much to say in a football game, or in the dressing room come to that. The UK is split every whichaway on political matters, and I expect most professional football teams reflect that.

I"m certainly no Trump supporter but thought Cameron was our best player again, and in a new position. Very influential directing from the back, (even if he's not shouting) interceping, winning balls and prompting our better moves going forward. Tired 2nd half as most who played the full game.

I only hope that we can get a leader in the Jan window. Dan Gosling of Bournemouth isnt getting many minutes and has contract due to finish at the end of the season - maybe short term loan could suit both parties. I also have concerns that fans will get on players backs - ie Dykes, someone who I think will score goals if given the right service. However confidence cannot be high in the camp right now and I do not want to see others bombed out as per Joe Lumley

We're probably fortunate that fans aren't allowed in at present, it wouldn't help playing in a toxic atmosphere. The other problem is will players want to come for a relegation battle?...

Perhaps you were. Once again the stats and the disquiet on this forum show the same picture. We dominate possession, have umpteen shots on goal yet are lucky if 3 are at least on target. So perhaps he is right to go on about us missing chance after chance. However he should perhaps also comment about the number of goals we concede from defensive lapses.
