Well we are well into Boxing Day, ......how has it been for you lot? ........ not too bad a day for me, with the Swans beating Q.P.R. 2-0. ........... But what a bloody start, I hobbled out to the car, settled in, started up,and waited for the Wife to lock up so we could take our dog JAX down the estuary for a walk. My Wife buckled up, and away We drove down to Loughor estuary. ........ When we got there, the Wife got out, and I called for JAX to get out from behind me....... no response,...I looked behind me, as the back seats are down flat.............behold. No bloody dog..,...The Wife thought he had come out with me, and I thought he had jumped in when she came out. ................ We were worried that he had been left outside, but when we got home, He was waiting patiently behind the front door. So this time he did have his walk. Usually he is the first in the car. ...................... Have any of you taken the Dog fo a walk with no bloody Dog. Rest of the day has passed quietly and enjoyed ourselves and the Swans made the day. ...tonight watching all the football on Telly, and I see that Brewster has been picked to start by Sheffield Unt . How has your Boxing Day gone?
Good day thanks Victor especially seeing that we won and our neighbours lost....glad your dog was safe. We never forget our dogs as we have to lift them in....
Quiet day here - watched the Swans, listened to the Ospreys and then had a Turkey curry 63rd birthday tomorrow.
Fukin brilliant Vic. I can see Jax tutting now. Did you dig up any lug worms on the estuary, ready for tomorrow fishing off the pier?
Victor I've never taken a dog for a walk without a dog , but I have had sex on my own . Just ticking off another Christmas which each year for me loses another piece of its sparkle, especially with it just being rationed to one other "bubble" , yesterday has come and gone but a mention to the wife whose lovely meal was appreciated by all. today's fare being turkey/ham salad and chips and what ever dessert wasn't finished off yesterday. A couple of drinks now just to see off the day so I'll raise a silent toast to those who never had a chance to see today for a variety of reasons and for better times to come
Haven’t forgot the dog, but brother law and sister both thought the other had switched on the oven for the turkey to cook a few years back. we adopted a dog in July and he has been as good as gold, rarely going on of our sight, this time he did and disappeared on our Christmas Day walk, after 45 minutes of panic, he came trotting along caked all over in clay. Little sh1t decided to go down a badger hole. Still could have been worse!
Most genuine friend you will ever have, ours was out of a care home , has taken over the house. He could have brought back a Badger as a mate! ,!............Good luck.
