Tomorrow we recommence battle???? Have a very peaceful and wonderful day everyone and remember those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
Happy Christmas N606ers! Got my Mum here for Christmas this year - bugger to get her here (and back may be even worse) but it's her first Christmas without my Dad. Did Swedish Christmas yesterday with a Julbord - loads of different dishes and most of them are some sort of herring, plus ham, meatballs etc. Oh an enough shots and beer to kill small Elk. Started my morning with a bacon butty and a walk with the dog. It started snowing, our first of the winter as it's been mild so far, which was nice. Going for a family walk now in the snow to make room for the turkey later. We'll open presents after the walk. My daughter is 12 now (don't know how that happened I'm sure I only brought her home from the hospital the other day) so still young enough to get excited by the present opening - but old enough to bitch about the walk first Merry Christmas from the Brown-Liljeholms
My missus friend was due to fly out to Sweden on Wednesday to have xmas with her son . She was really upset . The things we take for granted A!
Well we made it over safely to Heathrow from LAX despite Virgin Atlantic losing our wheelchairs (just temporary help for getting us from check in to the gate). So we're now with my son in Sussex and ready to cook a nice fat goose with all the trimmings for tonights Dinner. I see Leconfield and Hessle has snow this morning but bright sunshine down here in Arundel. Just want to wish you all a VERY Happy Christmas holidays and New Year (It couldn't be worse than 2020...Can it ??). I've enjoyed the postings and banter on here for the past 10 years...and the football analysis despite all of our ups and downs. My New Years wishes (in advance). NEW OWNERS (PLEASE!!!), a NEW HEAD COACH (PLEASE!!), Good health free from COVID to all our players (esp.Honeycutt), and above all...PROMOTION back to the Championship !!!!!! Have a great day and take care. God bless.
Herring ehh? I'm assuming that it's a Swedish tradition to have curry sauce with that. Merry Christmas to all in snowy East Yorkshire in Humberside. And all those far beyond that mythical land of wonder.
Funnily enough one of the things we always have on the Julbord is CurrySill but then some people say it's an abomination Some things are the same the world over please log in to view this image
Sorry Mrs Bear.. my message was auto corrected. Should have read West Penwith. I’m a bit further away from you. Have a great Christmas though Breakfast sounds great.. I am eating Toblerone minis and drinking Peroni for mine !
A very merry Christmas to all on here, Hopefully everyone, plus the team will have a great 2021 and things will return back to normal and we will all be able to do the things we enjoy. Stay safe, look after your families and most of all Enjoy.
Afternoon all, just wanted to take a minute to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy year, most of all good health! These days people don't spend much time or thought on some personal words to their friends and family, they just copy and paste some random **** and send it on. So, after all we've been though together this year I want to thank you for your friendship and wish you a happy 2018! You are the best gymnastics group anyone could ask for. Best wishes, Helen.
I can't even remember if I've already done this, so **** it, I'll do it again A very happy Christmas and a happy new year to you all. Times may tough, but when you have the will and the support around you, you'll win every game. Best wishes and good health to all of you x
He's clearly hit hard times. Grizzly Adams wouldn't have nicked them kids presents when he was on TV.
I have a cousin who lives on a property in Fort Worth. Her husband was a Texas Ranger and his mother who lived there was Indian. After my husband's visit in the mid 70's they came to visit when we lived in Sydney. Although having many relations in the US and Canada I have never visited North America although my husband met a few during business trips.
Must say I do enjoy everyone's thoughts on here, some i agree with, some i don't but you learn that everyone is entitled to opinion. Sometimes I've put something on and then think what an idiot why did I put that. At the end of the day we are all on here because we love City, I know like me some go to games some don't but we are all here for the same reason. On a different note I've got to mention that a few weeks ago my Dad went into a care home, unfortunately a couple of weeks after been in there I got a phone call saying out of the 49 residents in there 22 had coronavirus and my Dad was one of them, since then unfortunately a number have passed away, they said my Dad was seriously ill which was obviously a big worry but today the home rang said he had Christmas dinner and they then put him on the phone, his first words where, happy Christmas son, how's city doing. It was great to hear them words obviously taking nothing for granted but hoping he can now battle on though it. Anyway after the year we have all had i think none of us should take anything for granted and enjoy life in the best way we can.
