Many of those who moan about corruption don't always recognise their own double standards Over the summer I had some electrical work done by a local sparks. He was keen for me to make it a cash in hand job - and looked pretty disappointed when I insisted on a proper invoice with VAT (He was registered) and payment by bank transfer. He'd spent most of his break moaning about the state of the local roads but clearly couldn't see the irony Edit - I'm not aiming this at Bob!
Haha....may be I could claim it was for my new staff welfare facilities - the newly installed home gym Hang on....where are the receipts for the new flooring, paint....??
Sadly Watford I am old enough (and you, but you are younger) to have witnessed people causing more problems trying to solve minor problems and turning them into bigger ones. This country is diverse and a fab place to live. We are not all flag waving chest pumping right wing thugo,s. On another note I must say fair play to the police at Dover as when one of the drivers laid under a lorry. They helped him out and Up on his feet. Then then asked if he was okay. They got a round of applause off the other drivers.
I will get in trouble for mixing but he resigned from two positions. One being the second referendum’. He is the voice of modern young Britain but made a tit of himself at every opportunity?
Probably why I've never heard of him - I will ask my son as I'm clearly not in Femi's target demographic
Yeah sorry wrong thread for this. It is something that I find genuinely interesting though. I certainly find the blind patriotism bordering on Nationalism that has been prevalent since June 16 very distasteful.
Tier 3 for us. Feels like another full lockdown until more of the vaccine is rolled out is the only way we get on top of this. If only the highest Tier has any effect then clearly tiers don't work.
No worries Frome. I’m not one of Watford’s flag waving mob. I still believe that we need some good close ties with the EU and in 5 years no one will care about it.
