'Boro have been quietly working themselves up the table. If you were looking for an outside bet for automatic, they'd be my suggestion. Colin's experience and a bit of money in January might just do the trick.
Lot's of us are guilty I wouldn't worry, if anything a few prickly characters makes it more interesting
From what I have read the match will not be on Radio Norfolk as Watford is now in Covid Tier 4. I think the match is on Sky Sports for those who have this service. Just found out that the match will be recorded live on Three Counties Radio. If I have got any of this wrong, then please correct me before Boxing Day
Team News from Farke. Good news: Aarons is fine. Gibson, Quintilla, Rupp back in training. All three could make the squad. Bad news: Stiepermann a major doubt for Watford, an ear injection has thrown his balance off, given him headaches, and stopped him training. Hard to predict when Krul is back, maybe not until the FA Cup game in January now. Placheta not yet ready, but is in training so should be an option after Boxing Day. Other news: Farke doesn't plan to rotate 7/8 players like last time we were in the Championship for a festive fixture schedule. Intends to manage minutes instead.
Thanks for that DH. Mostly good news and I assume the ear injection should read ear infection (autocorrect gone wrong?). In any case, Vrančić and Dowell should offer decent alternatives. Great news that Gibson, Quintilla and Rupp could feature.
Not sure I understand any logic in your post. One, BBC, station cannot broadcast commentary but another, unknown to me, can?
They (radio Norfolk) could commentate from a distance, from watching Sky footage live in a worst case scenario.
This is from the Club's official site: "Owing to Watford being in the government’s Tier 4 COVID restriction area, BBC Radio Norfolk will not be present at this fixture. Commentary on the club’s iFollow service for this fixture will be provided by BBC Three Counties." Might Radio Norfolk also use that broadcast. For those unable to view Sky, there should be streams available online.
As of 1 minute past midnight on Boxing Day, Norfolk and Suffolk will go into Tier 4 Covid restrictions. Beginning to wonder if the match will go ahead.
Norwich's games will now be played behind closed doors - hope we do better than the last time we were forced to play behind closed doors whilst in the Prem. Fans who have tickets for QPR & Barnsley will get refunds
Players to watch: Troy Deeney has scored in his last three appearances with Watford. Meanwhile, Norwich’s Teemu Pukki (ten goals) is just two goals behind his tally at this stage of his 2018/19 Championship campaign, scoring in a 4-1 away victory for his 11th in that year. Hot stat: None of Watford’s previous five ‘permanent’ managers has lost their opening home league game (W3, D2).
Saw an amazing, well to me, fact yesterday. Watfords 13 managers since takeover in 2012 has contained only one British man, Nigel Pearson. Repeatedly doing the same thing expecting a different result is the first sign of madness.
