Could you imagine how happy everyone would be if Rooney got a vaccine instead of the granny he shagged
I don’t think that the government will suspend sporting events but I can see the lower leagues falling apart by default. I think more teams in the lower leagues will have to cancel games and I can see during the next few weeks that the league will degenerate into a shambles. EFL will do bugger all, with it currently being left to the clubs to cancel. They are going to have a **** load of investigations to do Think they really need to come out and reassure clubs that they can cancel without sanctions hanging over them.
Cheers mate, I know it shouldn't worry me, but the problem for me is that he has a platform to air his views and could be used as a way of stirring trouble for the new owners by influencing people and pushing agendas. You only need to look at the Mags and see how weapons like Steve Wraith and Mick Martin can get a profile and push their agenda on different subjects. I don't think people will take him that seriously in himself, but it's his platform and people who want to be negative could use him as a vehicle to get their agenda going, and he might be just a bit too willing to do it. Anyway, enough of my concerns. It's Monday morning, Christmas is in a couple of days. The star of Bethlehem is reappearing tonight, so haway the lads!
That's actually not a bad shout, if other industries can pay for vaccines (I don't know if other areas of industry are doing this yet) for their employees why couldn't football?
It sends out completely the wrong message and will just increase anxiety and depression. If we can play the games, then we have to try and do that. Yet again the media and govt is pumping out hysterical ott messages about a 'mutant' strain that is threatening our very existence. Its complete bullshit.
There is only so many vaccines to go around and as many critical workers are down the queue I would be mightily pissed off if footballers got in front of them. Watching games on tv with empty stadiums is hardly a panacea for mental health issues. Society is more important than sport
People are forgetting that it's not just the players that would have to get them its all the coaches and club staff and then the match day staff which would be around 300 people alone
Well my daughter is a nurse and unless she is bullshitting me, I humbly disagree, this is very very real Also My brother in law died about 2 weeks ago, his widow and son both have it and my step-son
Yoou cant pay for the vaccine though, they stated that from the start, otherwise it would be unfair on the people that cant afford tonpay for it
Not really though is it, it's a new virus that's killing more people than the common cold or flu mostly older people in care homes which is why people can't always see who it's killing but that doesn't mean it's not happening just because it's not happening to you.
Funny all the health professionals I know are saying the opposite. Not saying it doesnt exist and isnt serious but the response to it is completely wrong and flawed
In your words ‘it’s complete bullshit’. Give your head a wobble and stop being so insensitive when people are relaying their experiences and how they’ve lost people as a result of it.
