Musselburgh 12.45 Set in Stone Useful on the flat and has taken well to hurdles in this class for in-form stable as last time 3rd at Southwell proved again. No ground worries. Should be in the mix.
Musselburgh 12.15 Diamond State This one took a big step forward when a staying on 4th over 1m7f at this track last time out (about 2 length behind the winner). The odds on winner that day Mig De Taillons is entered in a competitive looking handicap at Leopardown on saturday. With further progress likely given much respected connections this horse looks to have a good each way chance. Stable who has been amongst the winners last 14 days does well at Musselburgh (especially for this owner).
I see good old Buzz Lightyere is running at Newcastle later 3.25. Currently 66/1 with most firms. I’m having a little go ew for sentimental reasons; it’s that time of year isn’t it?

Won two on the trot after last wind op to be fair it looks a good bet lets just hope spoirad comes on from the good run lto here placing 3rd .
1:45 - Handy Hollow - Each Way Hands and heels race, and this horse is pretty consistent and is normally ridden by a conditional. He stays this trip well and further, and importantly he looks to be on a competitive mark still. Slightly concerned about his win strike rate, but I am taking a chance with him today. My bookmaker paying the first four too.
2:15 - Keep The River - Each Way This horse is another who doesn't win as many as she should, but due to that she is down to a very low mark and has shown enough in her two well beaten runs this season to suggest that she has still got the ability that saw her win a maiden hurle and a bumper. She is a stone lower than when she was in good form in 2019, and even on her early 2020 handicap form she has chances.
