Still no names name someone or don't bother. btw your "a german" suggestion is one of the worst I've ever seen
Why? He finished below them two premier league seasons in a row lol we were losing against Huddersfield at home with 30% possession #progress
Because he's a better manager by a counter mile. Bournemouth went down dreadfully even we bear them 4 - 1 at home.. So what went wrong there? They spent alot of money that season. There's really no comparison rafa Benitez has managed some of the best clubs in the world and won major honours
If newcastle do stay up and the takeover happens he's coming to Newcastle and he'll get us competing for a top half finish in no time...
The average manager stays in a job for 3 three seasons now, Howe was keeping them in the premier league for 5. What went wrong? Players lost interest, especially key players being talked up by the likes of Arsenal and United, post Covid Bournemouth like a few had a terrible form change, they struggled as a small club like theirs would with these changes. But, the league positions are fantastic for a club which can't even fit 12 thousand fans. They finished 16th, 9th, 12th and 14th. They played better football while doing it. At Newcastle, the managers don't even have a say on signings, they're all pre scouted. I'm not going to talk about a takeover which will more than likely never happen, I'm talking as realistic as possible and saying that as of right now, we must sack this manager and we have a better replacement available right now.
Bruce is as good as Howe and dyche. There's Levels in it.. I'd rather not mess around with British crap because they're all morons. I want a foreign coach that the players see and respect first and foremost.
Bruce couldn't get Villa up he's the worst manager in the league, he didn't even earn his spot. Levels.
He's been promoted before though. Howe has had one side do well and it ended a disaster. I want to see more than one example of building something... Otherwise its potentially just chance. I mean look at how crap they were last season... He got sacked Nufc is still a bugger club than a manager sacked by Bournemouth, but the owner and current manager don't think so and most fans have forgotten.. We are where we are, but there's better managers out there we could be sniffing around, but of course Ashley won't pay what's required and that's what gets you a manager in the same way it gets you players..... I'd rather have Howe than Bruce, but I'd rather give Bruce the season and then fire him after the takeover.. I don't want them stuck with Eddie Howe and trying to sign players that don't know who he is
A disaster? Bournemouth dropped a division and will come straight back up. They're one of the smallest clubs in the top three divisions, people even felt the sacking was harsh ffs. A "disaster" Chance is Chris Wilder, coming up with a unique style and surprising a bunch of teams. That's a flash in the pan. Howe kept it up for 5 years, with good positions and a top playing style. When they won they won well, they could even be scrappy and play for a **** 1-0 like they did when they beat us at home under Rafa. It's simply insane to dismiss what could be a potentially top manager simply because he didn't leave Bournemouth when he should, he turned down the Arsenal job which was a mistake. We'd be talking the same about Brendan Rodgers if he didn't walk away from Swansea at the perfect time.
Yeah Howe was abysmal over the last couple of seasons, his transfer record is disastrous too. His replacement isn't doing too bad, which shows Howe wasn't really needed. He was bad at. Burnley too.
