I generally consider myself a glass half full kinda guy and generally go easier on players and manager than some others do but **** me we really aren't very good.

Its all very well playing some pretty football on occaision but if your players turn into mindless buffoons whenever they approach the penalty area you aren't going to win games. Every game we get into so many dangerous positions only for someone to keep the ball for too long, not know what to do with it or spaff it miles into touch.

I've been saying all season MW has no tactical acumen, we pass well sideways and backwards with the occasional forward foray that ends in a misplaced pass or shot off target. Under pressure we get found out and this is where MW fails badly in not being able to change tactics to match the opposition changes. How many games have we dominated early, not made it tell and get suckered in the last 10 minutes? Swansea & Norwich will surely see him off, if not we may be looking at the unthinkable.

BTW, good to see you back Bob, have you been plastered?...

The title sums up our performance. But the music made me smile.

    Have a great weekend!

Totally agree, apart from the deprecation of Camaron. Yes, he is old, but still good enough at this level. Although, why Warbles plays him for every minute and takes off Carroll is a mystery.

I just dont see the necessity for both him and Ball when playing a back 4. I would play Ball over Cameron every day of the week. Last season was, to an extent, exciting, enjoyable, a goal fest of entertainment. Sell your best players and you really need to be tactically aware to compensate for such losses like Eze and the loans of Wells and Hughill.

Just woke to see that we can't even beat the team coming last.
    That pretty much says everything.

The team coming last could tell we would never score against them so thought they would help out with an own goal

Playing these two and Carroll is what the problem is. The choice between Ball and Camaron is an opinion. I would say that there is not much of a difference. I still do not understand how you can be so critical of Camaron.
Carroll and one of the two is quite obvious to anyone who is not MW!

The numbers back up Cameron in terms of our results when each of them plays but the bloke can barely move or pass the ball. Ball is dire on the ball too but can get around the pitch a bit and in theory would allow us to push up a bit and get the midfield closer to Dykes.

With the number of games it probably has to be Ball at some point anyway but I think he deserves more of a go with Carroll.

It's just my opinion as you say and that's what makes football what it is.
Cameron, for me is just too static and that's why I think MW sometimes plays the 3 of them, to compensate his lack of movement. I dont dislike the guy, seen him have a few decent games but I'm sure theres a youngster somewhere at the club with the ability to run faster, tackle and close down just as much. Maybe with a bit more enthusiasm added in. If I were an opposition coach then I would really concentrate playing through the centre of our team and expose him as much as possible.

Welcome back Bob we have missed you.
    Today was poor, really poor.
For all my spouting of a small squad ...Warbs could have protected our precious lead today with Masterson and fresh young legs.

It is true he only has one plan...and no counter plan when things grind to a halt.

Our players are better than our position in the league. Dieng, Barbet, Dickie, Carroll, Chair,BOS...and I think Dykes too, but we have not seen it yet....are better than 19th.

But our tactics and our belief are now rock bottom.

I am not sure we can afford to get rid of Warburton...
My half full glasses has just emptied

    True that, OPRski.

We saw The Good, The Bad & The Ugly in that performance
I'm Unforgiven towards Warburton and we should Hang'Em High.
Surely a Man With No Name would do better than him.
We need a Enforcer who can make a Sudden Impact with the team.
We can get a High Plains Drifter from up north who could score us some goals.
For a Fist Full of Dollars, we could have some decent players.
For a Few Dollars More, we could have ourselves a superstar forward scoring goals.

    Yours truely,
    Dirty 'Harry' Didley

Cameron was our MOM yesterday imo, only player that brought off very good saves from their Keeper, one from a good long shot, and I think it was him that had a header well saved in the corner 2nd half. He played a few inventive passes into their box, from one of them BOS was hacked down in their box, and he won many loose balls, interceptions, tackles, headers in front of our back 4. Better 1st half than 2nd, but still way better than Ball, and anyone in Hoops. Dieng good but should have done better for their goal, and made a couple of handling errors.
