yeah but he was hired by G&H for tough times and couldn't say no. G&H set us back by selling players and leaving rafa to buy dross like kyrgiakos.

All the players knew it. you could tell in gerrards body language and carragher too. Torres just jumped ship.

hodgson was just never up to a big job but the only criticism is he took it on but then again everyone would probabaly jump at it.

I thought naby was excellent today, first half was tight but he more then held his own, second half he was brilliant. Constantly looking to move the ball forward.

The pass out to trent at one point was outstanding.

I understand your frustration, if Curtis had played like naby today he'd be getting rave reviews.

I shall reiterate, I dont think anyone thinks he's ****e, just that he's not reliable enough to be considered long term.

 

Bagful of great goals, but Bobby's were a touch above imo. A bit of Suarez about them.

But he’s a really good footballer. I wouldn’t go far and say he was excellent today but he was good, along with the rest of the team. It’s good to see as it was his first start and we need to get a run of games from him.

So you didn't listen then. No issues with him attempting passes, that's what he's in the side to do. I don't like him hogging the ball so long that he gets tackled, all whilst his teammates and the fans tell him he's got a man coming!

This isn't a new development, he's done it since arriving and he's not learning from it. It happens every game he plays.

He had a decent game today though, I've said that already.
