You don't watch games do you? Opinions are like arseholes. It's good to have one.. .... Especially on the social.....
N , GM 'preference' is nothing to do with it. GM been told by enob he can't start him without signing a contract 'cos of he starts another game he gets a pay rise. It's between. Enob and the agent. We shouldn't be involved. Grant ****ed up making that public. Today and Blackpool are what is going to happen over a season though. We've had results in the past we have got the rub of the green. Last 2 games it went against us. No major issue. Let's not be gobshite snowflakes eh? It's football, It happens in a season. How we react matters and some of you are behaving like contestants on ****ing 'drag race' right now. Some who should know better anarl..
4 r fuc This isn’t a remotely accurate reflection of the game. We were completely outplayed in the first half, they looked dangerous every time they came forward and after the early second goal, they shut up shop and we had absolutely no answer.
Personally I saw the game somewhere between your analysis and Mckechnie Orange's analysis. I don't think Portsmouth ever really looked that dangerous and feel they may have struggled to score without the luck they got. However, they managed the game very well, once they were ahead I never felt they would concede, very organised in defence and we had no answer for it with our disjointed attacks.
Snowflakes? If it were one-off I’d agree. Buts it’s not is it? This is McCants form book. He’s letting the owners pick the team, we need him gone ASAP.
Wouldn't his replacement simply face the same problems? Maybe Terry told the press to show some of the issues he faces?
Grant seems to have spent his evening blocking City fans on Twitter, though to be fair, there were a lot fans tagging him in '**** off' messages.
Our history doesn't support your claim, even in the unlikely event Ehab would appoint someone liable to challenge him, which would make almost all of your claims about what wrong.
I wasn't talking about the KLP situation, I was talking about the fact that McCann's hopeless and we'd hopefully replace him with someone who wasn't.
But the KLP situation was what the conversation was about, so your response is sat in that context. The rest of my point still stands, that a replacement manager would face the self and same problems, and if one was brought in that would challenge that, it would be against many of the claims you've made against Ehab.
I agree. The problem with this football club is not Grant McCann. Over five or more years, it has consistently been shown that the problem with the football club is the ludicrous posturing and penny pinching of Ehab Allam. He is the one that has to go, if we want to see real long term change on the pitch. It might get worse, it might get better - but at least it won't be what we have now and there will a restoration of hope.
That's quite obviously true, but there's little realistic chance of that happening any time soon and in the short term we need to get out of this league, something that I think would be far more likely with a new manager.
Like who? They'd have to be available, and affordable, and are liable to see that some fans like think the manager will be walking in to a toxic atmosphere, with an authoritarian chairman that will tell them the team selection and set up. So who is liable to put their career in that position?
Portsmouth were better than us. That's a good place to start for any analysis. Better in midfield, better upfront, and better defensively on the day although our fullbacks were better going forward. McCann said the problem was we had 25 crosses and only got on the end of one of them. A better manager, or a sentient being, might have said that the problem was that we put in 25 crosses because were unable to pass our way into their penalty area. Magennis was poor, so McCann's solution was to bring Eaves on to give away free kicks for offsides and fouls, and let Magennis have a go at being a creative number ten. I was shocked to find out it didn't work, shocked I tell you. I'm always hesitant to say I might have better ideas than a manager, but surely if you're losing the midfield battle then a possible solution is to do something to try to win the midfield battle. So I would have put Batty on for Slater to add some energy, and moved our best player (Docherty) forward to make things happen and be a goalscoring threat. Or not. Anything except play Magennis as a number ten.
