Josh is still with us. Not only has he stalled but he was facing uphill and the handbrake wasn't working when it happened. He seems have lost any appetite for the game he might have had. Now makes cameo appearances from the bench mainly. He might do something positive but then disappears again. He is not the player we paid an arm and leg for 2 1/2 years ago. Good business by you although he did fairly well in his first year. Didn't even make the bench last night. Could be unwell/injured but I have not seen anything on that. One we would like to ship out in January. Do you want him back?
With all the scorers Cardiff have and your superiority in the air we'll be lucky to still be in the game by halftime. If there's an underdog in this game it must be us.
I thought you were laying it on a bit. Cardiff are a very good team. I would take a point right now (maybe.)
Despite what the bookies want people to believe, the expected goals metric is analytical, not predictive. Here, specially for Bure's benefit, is the latest XG table from Experimental 6-3-1:
Don't you mean only the result counts rather than "what happens on the pitch"? The XG table actually has a lot of interesting information in it about "what happens on the pitch".
You are an arrogant pedantic know all. The result happens on the pitch, goals happen on the pitch, predicted "goals" do not exist, only in your weird world. As for "interesting information" ,you "cannot be serious"
I do not understand all this X whatever, a fact that I am forever thankful for. It is time to start a stat thread for robbie to post all his statistical knowledge for all the rest of us to ignore. All of this is the most boring and meaningless rubbish that has no part in the passion that comes from supporting a football club.
Squad news: Everyone involved at Reading is fine. Dowell pretty exhausted after his contribution at Reading, hasn't built up to full fitness yet, so unlikely to be ready for a start. Rupp back in training, could be in the squad. Gibson and Placheta still out. Krul requires a series of injections to try and address the thigh problem. The muscle has healed but there's "rest fluid" in the muscle causing pain. So injections, scan on Sunday, but potential in contention for Boxing Day. Quintilla should be in training from Tuesday, but does sound like Farke wants another LB in January. Farke thinks those players with Premier League ambitions are perhaps more settled than in August/September, because there's been no "hangover" in the squad.
