OT. Help in the Christmas spirit

Hi all.

I don't post on here enough for people to remember who I am or anything but I'm a Newcastle supporter from Kent. My Dad is originally from Northumberland (Amble) which is why I support our wonderful team.
Anyway, Dad is moving back home when he retires so is due to move back up North soon. He is moving away from young grandchildren so I was going to get him a Facebook portal for Christmas. As luck would have it someone is selling one in Alnwick. Obviously I can't justify the round trip from Kent to pick that up just to save £30. Does anyone on this forum happen to live in Alnwick that would be willing to pick it up for me? I can then get my Dad to pick it up from you when he is next up? He probably won't get it for Christmas BUT to be honest he won't actually need it until he moves back home.
If you'd be willing to post it then that would be even better but I appreciate that's a big ask and a lot of trust on your part.

The only trouble is that you always seem to think it’s pro bono and not pro rata!!

 

Thats why I buy you so many drinks mate... pro bono, or mates rates for alcohol... quid... pro.. quo...
