A rant? It’s what happened. I’ve spent **** all with them for over four years. I’ve been to 2 home games in that time. One because there was a minutes applause fir a young lad who had tragically died, the other was a gift from my student son. I’ve turned up to protests, handed out red cards, I was asked to photograph another protest. On each occasion I drove the 150 miles, did my bit & went home (I think I watched the Leicester 2-1 win in The Gemmil before heading back.) I’ve given them nowt since the concessions went. I’d have been better off but that’s not the point. Bringing them back doesn’t redeem them. They’re ****s. They’re not worth the steam off my piss never mind my £££.
Your reply to, "do they want to sell or not?" .Essentially and probably in the long term it will put any sane person off investing money into any Football club ever again!! So, barring a lunatic putting in a bid, we are a club for sale, but no interested buyer?
Although technically we may be for sale based on the utterances from the Allams, in practice we aren't as their sale terms and conditions are now so completely unrealistic as to make it practically unsellable/unbuyable.
That's fine and who am I to deny any man the right to protest or vent their anger.I have took offence at several things they have done in the past but I've drawn the line at cutting off my nose to spite my face.Living up here for so long it's all I've got left of my childhood memories and as soon as is possible I'll be back. Not to bow or stand in adoration of the Allams but to see the team I've followed since 1969 and meet mates I've had since I was a kid...
Covid 19 has and will change Football entirely!! Do they want to sell? My opinion,Yes. Will they succeed,I can't possibly answer that given the risk involved of another pandemic and fans being locked out(no revenue)?
How many club owners claim they’ve been trying to sell the club for over six years, while actually pricing it unrealistically to make sure it doesn’t sell?
My understanding was that in the Championship,a football finance expert, put a figure of 35-40 million on the Club? And from memory, said at the time it would drop significantly to somewhere around 15-20 if relegated to league 1? How much did Allam put on it last year or this?
I would ask you the same question I set, name a Championship side he would get to start in week on week. He should be starting for us, I think he is a great player at this level and there is more to come from him, but he isn’t ready to force his way into a Championship club yet and that’s my point.
I also should have been clearer, he should be playing week in week out, but because of Ehab/McCann he isn’t. Once he is his true value will be seen.
I probably don't have your in depth knowledge of current Championship squads as I just see the Championship highlights on TV but I saw every Championship team last season and in my opinion there were many worse players than KLP then. He is certainly one of our best players and I believe he would be an asset to several Championship teams right now.
i don’t see the relevance of which other club might be interested in him now, there’s no financial issue here, merely one of contract length. He’s already contracted to 2022, there’s absolutely no good reason not to be starting him, other than Ehab thinking he can use it to blackmail him into a contract he’s not happy with, which is completely self-defeating.
Has anyone stopped to think that maybe KLP isn't doing as much in training, isn't putting as much effort in as he has before, the plaudits he's been getting gone to his head or others are just showing more in training? He wouldn't be the first player to sulk a little when things don't go his way, nor would he be the first player in the world to be badly advised by his agent and that effect things Yes it's more likely to be ehab, but maybe just maybe he's not helping himself either.
I remember Ben Morley going all Billy Big Bollocks after he scored the winner in the cup at Luton. Josh Tymon was another one. Where are they now ?
