The EFL have confirmed that Hull City’s League One fixture away to Sunderland on Boxing Day has been suspended. The match will have to be rearranged after a number of individuals at Sunderland returned positive tests for Covid-19. As per EFL and government guidelines, those affected are required to self-isolate for 10 days. A revised date will be confirmed in due course.
Well that'll be odd... just not boxing day without a city game being played. A fitting end to an absolute crap year.
Absolutely mental that our game was allowed to go ahead last night. We had 8 first team regulars missing and another 4 went down with it today. Hopefully none of The AFC Wimbledon players have caught it
I was thinking the opposite, Sunderland thrashed Lincoln last Saturday, so I was thinking maybe there are running into form and we are not.
So let's just hope that all our opposition(ones of any use)get struck down with covid and all our hard games come when we are 'in form'? Is that what the game and our support has come to?We've took 10 points from our last 6 games,Sunderland have took 7.....They've won 1 game out of the last 6 they've played!!
They've got a new manager in, and seem to have turned the corner. Of cause TWT as Tickler used to say.
They drew at home against an out of form Wimbledon at the weekend.....We'd class that as under-achievement on here.
Does anyone know what is happening with iFollow and membership holders for the match on Friday? The club have said they aren’t issuing codes and that iFollow will do something to offer access. Has that happened? How would anyone know?
They were missing a number of players due to the virus apparently, and according to the Sunderland fans, the game should have been called off.
Yeah I got that email but when I sent the message nothing had actually happened on my iFollow account. Anyway, it has happened now so all is right with the world - chippy tea and Pompey on the telly, what could possibly go wrong?
