Attempt missed. Tom Naylor (Portsmouth) right footed shot from outside the box is close, but misses to the left. Assisted by Cameron Pring. 90 + 1 minute.
Final whistle. 0-0 against 'orrible Fleetwood. Basically robbed by the useless referee's first half performance, when Barton's bullies should have been reduced to ten men. Barton must feed them on raw meat.

When you make a well credentialed thug manager you can expect his coaching to reflect his specialties!! Having said that Pompey matched them in the aggression stakes (I'm pleased to say). I thought Curtis and Williams were unlucky to see yellow but Harness's card had a pink hue. Andrews was a marginal case - lucky not to see red but a sendinf off would have been harsh.
Thanks for the commentary once more Woops. I was switching between your thread and the Snoozes and your info was beating theirs to the punch!! I have now watched the ifollow replay. When you watch replays after knowing the result and reading reports the performance of the team can exceed previously generated expectancies and this was the case with this game. I thought Pompey held their shape well and dominated generally with the only disappointment being the lack of good chances. The News ( Niel Allen) gave Cannon MOM which wasn't evident from the replay but I suspect he is a player you have to see live - not on a screen - to appreciate the amount of running he does. As stated above Pompey appeared to keep the shape that had bought them their previous two victories so will start the Hull game in form but not too confident. PUP
