Steve Bruce's Black n White army are the visitors to Elland Road on Wednesday teatime. The two sides last met in 2004 when Alan Shearer scored the only goal of the game. Previously, the Magpies are unbeaten in their five previously meetings at LS11.

Leeds are due a win at home, having gone 5 games without picking up three points. Failure to do so on Wednesday would equal their worst record since 2015.

Leeds currently sit in 14th place on 14 points; they have won twice in the last 9 games. Newcastle are two places, three points higher and have played a game less. Their moderate success has come in the form of late goals. Half of their 14 goals have come after the 82nd minute.

Will Bielsa make wholesale changes? Now that Hernandez has proved his fitness with the U23's should he start? Bamford was substituted early on v West Ham, are we going to see him keep his place?

Should Ayling stay at centre back or did Leeds miss his runs down the wing?

Out of all supporters in the Football League, you'd get few disagreeing that Leeds and Newcastle fans are some of the most passionate in the Country. To deny them access to the turnstiles must be a bitter pill to swallow

 

It'll be an easy win for Leeds... Don't let our position fool you because we're the worst footballing side in the league if not Europe.

We will look to ruin the game, pinch a goal somewhere along the line and then hold on and ruin the game some more.

Gutted like us all, after the performance against WHU, never did i think a Bielsa team could be so poor, but as others have pointed out, we have mostly championship players performing in the pl,and until we strengthen i guess we will see other managers and players take full advantage of our situation, as the step up in quality from the championship is huge, and i can now quite see why newly promoted teams struggle. still onwards and upwards, think we will get a good result against the barcodes 3-1 Leeds.
