I'm going for a comfortable 3-0 tomorrow and yet more improvement in the tempo, movement and performance.

I can't believe how much my optimism has gone up by in a week.

    McLaughlin Wright Flanagan McFadzean
    Leadbitter Power
    Diamond Embleton McGeady
    Wyke
Subs: Patterson, Sanderson, Neil, Dobson, Curry, Maguire, Grigg

great thread RTB I've gone for a win and expect a 2-0 to us, due to the bounce from the new manager, and the young guys bursting to perform, with wanting to show the fans and manager what they have got , now prehistoric has gone im well on board with this guy and can only see us going from strength to strength, and even a promotion in the wind.

Lots of optimism flying about after Saturday. I hope we can keep it going because our next 7 or 8 games are all very winnable. Almost to the point where we should be expecting to win them all

    1-1 tomorrow then :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Be interesting to see what Johnson does if Scowen is out. Will he be bold and replace him with Neil or Embleton, or go more cautious with Dobson. Hope he goes the former.

The attitude and performance are important tonight.

Might sound daft but I'd prefer a disciplined team effort and 1-0 than a hell for leather 3-2.

    So I'm going for 3-0 <laugh>

Isn’t it a breath of fresh air to have a manager that isnt a ****ing mood hoover and is full of enthusiasm.

Great thread as usual RTB. Cheeky 3-1 win as we may leave ourselves open at the back as Burge surges forward from the back to supply a pinpoint cross to Wyke

While Saturday was quite refreshing, it's the first rung on a long ladder. I'd be delighted with maximum points regardless of performance, hopefully though, all the squad buy into the new mentality and we can finally smash this dreadful league.
Ever the optimist, I am going for another convincing four nil victory.

If I may interpret, you are a long time Sunderland supporter, well versed in the reverses that often come after a stellar display. So after the highs of Saturday, it would be foolish not to acknowledge a low might come tonight..its as they say 'The Sunderland Way'

If Lincoln had scored with their two early chances! There is always a narrow line between victory and defeat.

Personally I reckon we will win tonight but doubt we will keep a clean sheet, so will need to score at least 2 goals.. same starting 11.

I’ve been thinking about changing my 6-0 but every time I change my score the 1st bugger is usually right do you think I would get a extra point if I leave it <laugh>
