I'm straight and I agree. Who wouldn't fancy Pelle? The granite jaw, the immaculate hair. A football Adonis :emoticon-0115-inlov

Man crushes aside, another brilliant 3 points today and another Vesty masterclass. This season is dreamland stuff. Haven't felt this good about Saints since the Koeman days. COYR

Bit of an optical illusion on the telly I think
At least 2 seat gap between groups and every 3rd row was clear for movement
    It all felt well organised

    Workhorses? o_O

No way back for players who can’t play the Ralph way
Scottish football far less intense but pleased for Alien
Lemons doesn’t want to play the Ralph way

We are developing younger talent so may not need to buy it
    N’Lundulu looked good yesterday

And really important that we now have a way to beat a deep defending team

Balls over the top for the fast running of Danny / Che / Theo and Stu / Theo running at them

Just as a side note, did those like me who lucky enough to be there yesterday, notice the spontaneous applause when the players took a knee? I guess that was a reaction to the Millwall incident.
This side could get better and better. Competition for places and some great skill on display yesterday. I can’t wait until we have a full stadium again. Strange times, and a lot of what has happened puts football into perspective. Still, perhaps it also provides the diversion we need right now.

We noticed and we were a part of that

Can’t say it was spontaneous on our part as we’d talked about it beforehand and said that having watched it on telly this was our first opportunity to support it at a game

Still waiting to see if any action is taken at Millwall. Gestures mean nothing without actions to back them up

Trust me wait until you go to a game and then you can really see the whole picture in front of you. We've got so good at Ralph's system that the smaller clubs just can't cope when we play well.

What is really good to see is that we aren’t relying on individuals. Ing’s wasn’t fizzing with bravado as he was before the injury, I thought Walcott was a willing runner without offering much threat but they are able to play in others around them and be confident that if they aren’t able to make a goal themselves someone else will step up. It’s been a looong time since I’ve seen that from saints.

I do wonder what we will see from Walcott as the season goes on. He’s been a great asset so far but the chemistry doesn’t seem to be there yet with anyone else, he’s lacking a great partnership. Do we think he will have an impact as the season goes on or fade and redmond will take his place back?

I disagree with you on Walcott. He played well yesterday and was linking up well with other players.

I don’t think he played badly but I also don’t think he looked like he had a real plan. Lots of movement without a real threat. Deep down I’m wondering if he will become a Shane Long this season, well loved, lots of energy but not a lot of goals or assists. Don’t mean that to sound overly negative but time will tell.

For those of you that believe in the power of the dishwasher, you'll be glad today wasn't a match day. Disaster.

Not hoofs measured chips, it's another string on the bow. The more variations can only help the team.

Typical Saints fan, I’m really worried about Wednesday. I really shouldn’t be on current form, but the old Saints takes a long while to shake off!

I don't think he is clinical enough to start up front as he has the same issue as Shane that they are quite wasteful, albeit to a lesser extent (plus Ings & Adams are both so good - but I think he definitely has a shot at playing a lot of football in one of our no. 10 roles. It is also worth pointing out that Armstrong, Redmond & Djenepo have all had over a year more than Theo to adjust and learn Ralph's system - I'd argue Theo has adapted quicker than any of them.

It will be interesting to see if we offer him a contract in the summer. He would need to take a big pay cut but at his age he might be happy to do so for a 2/3 year deal - it would also be a free transfer so a good way to add experience & depth on the cheap.
