    Not me. The owners.

How are some of the other championship clubs spending so much?
How are Swansea paying their striker 80 grand a week?

We are in danger of sleep walking into league 1.

All this talk about the difficult schedule from some on here and Warburton makes me wonder how any of the other sides manage to do any coaching?

So today was a great experience. The club did absolutely everything they could to make it a comfortable and safe experience ...and it was.
    Well done QPR.

The match. The players seemed really pleased to see us..and peered round to see the fans who were already in there at 2 o'clock....and gave us a clap...we did the same.

The match:- we were the better team without being outstanding. If Chairs great shot had gone in instead of hitting the post and going along the line. A couple of inches was probably all it took. It would have been different.

I think their shot on 88, minutes...which was good...just crept in...a couple of inches again.

We were unlucky...but teams make their own luck...and we don't.

BOS went of injured, after rubbing his calf's with some sort of ointment for most of the second half.
    Dykes was limping
Dykes does so much work, but has absolutely no support. The "system" does not work for Dykes.
Carroll was a dynamo today, worked his socks off..
Cameron was hot and cold. I do prefer Ball.

I do not know what the answer is.
But I am scared that we will be one of the best footballing teams to be relegated... Simply because we play lovely football for 80 minutes, but cannot score...and then relax and concede...nearly every week

Oh and to rub salt in the would.
I have a ticket for Stoke on Tuesday too

Where were you seated Beth? We're normally in SAR but they put us behind the goal for some reason. I really thought that their goal-scorer had run the ball out of play before he scored, what did you think?

We were in SAR, nice seats essentially next to directors box.

The ball appeared to go out...the crowd near to the touchline and the players were baying for it.
I couldn't see, so cannot really comment. The players were definitely upset.

The ref did seem to favour Reading. And was supper fussy about position of ball for free kicks and then got really arsey with Chair in the first half for moving the ball after a foul.

    At the moment we are
    1.not taking our chances.
    2. Losing concentration and being punished
    3. Bloody unlucky

My view of today: we were the better team, denying them playing out from the back and nullifying their balls over the top (generally - couple of missed chances). Frustrating plan A involving shifting the ball from side to side and probing opportunities- too predictable and not enough mixing up tactics. Dykes and Chair playing up front, regularly making runs, raising hands for service and not getting it - leading to frustration all round. Need a midfield link or the wingers providing good crosses - would probably urge a 3-5-2 formation as Dykes knocks balls down but has little assistance. So frustrated to see a (good) goal go in so late. Have been rewarded with tickets for Tuesday’s game...

Col - this is potentially my 442. Dieng, Kakay. Dickie, Masterson / Barbet, Hamalainen Bos Ball Chair Adomah Willock and Dykes as front two.
If WIllock was not having any success then ideally I would like him to swop with either Albert or BOS.
I just find it frustrating that we spend money on a striker that was in form until he comes to London, when, we don't play to his strengths. I also like Masterson and wonder whether a run in the first team would help. It took a while to get the GK issue resolved.
On the bench - if we have the squad that was available there is also possibility of putting Chair up front and taking off Willock for example and putting on Carroll.

Was it here or on Facebook who showed the back of the program to compared the size of the Reading Squad versus ours...and said we had essentially 16 outfield players...

This is why we are not making as many substitutions as other teams as well.
We haven't got the quality on the bench

We are now playing 2 games a week.

I think the pressure is catching up with us. Players are tiring at the end of matches...

I agree with that Tramore, though I don't know how the Eze fee was paid - thought normally the cost of a player was depreciated in the Accounting, not the fee payments paid made like that. I would add to that that we are playing excellent football in many games, last night included, but obviously need to be more effective up front, and in defence though I think we are improving there somewhat.

We don't need a new Manager, but a better striker, improve and get in more crosses, and a strong mobile fit midfielder would help. We could probably get these for the cost of changing the Manager and the following cost of bringing in all the new players a new Manager usually wants to fit his style We probably tired at the end yesterday, but we were the better team overall, and just millimeters from taking the lead with Chairs shot. Think possibly Warburton may do well to listen to Eustace a bit more, he showed when he was Manager he could change things up successfully. If Warburton did go, I'd be happy for him to take over for a while.

Think our new strikers this season have scored just 3 goals so far, excluding the pens. That is far from good enough, we need to improve the crossing, but have still made plenty enough chances for them to have managed more than 3. Bonne dont look up to this level, and Dykes seems unable to get on the end of balls in to the box, anticipate them or show the technical skills needed, though he obviously battles hard.

I don’t think a simple win % tells you much. I just looked at Pearson’s stats across two spells as Leicester boss. Win % is 46.7% and avg points per game was 1.67. This includes winning the Chump and managing in the PL. Inarguably, he laid the foundation for their title winning season - I recall their magnificent escape the season before where their run in was title winning form.

I also see his win % (again for what it’s worth) at Watford was 35%, but this apparently is the best of any Hornets manager in the PL. Took over relegation fodder and dumped when he might have saved them (although probably wouldn’t have, but made a decent fist of it).

Of Warburton’s ‘superior win % stats. 67% was earned at Glasgow Rangers... and some of that was their promotion from the second tier. Frankly, I could’ve got them up with my mother as assistant.

Hit the nail on the head. Substitutions have been our undoing in at least four of our recent defeats. The opposition are bringing on quality and we don’t have any squad depth. The goal scorer yesterday I think is usually a starter for them but was being rested.

    Cheers mate.
As always with this formation, I always worry that we'd be completely over run in midfield.
I do agree that we need to change things though.
I think I'd like to see us try 3-5-2, which would also put someone up top with Dykes.

    -Masterson-Dickie-Barbet-
    Kakay--------------------Nico
    -----Cameron--Carroll-----
    ----------------Chair-------------
    ---------Willock--Dykes------

How long will you continue to make excuses for Warburton Beth?
    Genuine question.

I fear we are heading into the relegation zone.
