Fulwell Mill? Shields has the Groyne and a statue of Queen Victoria.

I took a mate up to Shields once, around 1971 - out and out Londoner, never been north of Watford. He couldn't believe the number of curry houses in Ocean Road, or the class of young ladies in the Chelsea Cat and the Latino.

Syd, the funny thing is I was actually driving through Coxhoe at 4.45 this afternoon but it was shut!

If Chester le Street were the Michelle Pfeiffer of towns, Coxhoe would be the warts on her arse.

    Just saying like. Lol.

Coxhoe out. Sounds dirty somehow that or is it just me. Lol

Am originally a Whitburn lad. A codhead.

Now I think it's like Stephen King's Derry in "IT"

If you know the book, you know what I mean.

    Love where I live now.

If Coxhoe were the Heather off Eastenders of towns, Pelton Fell would be the warts on her fat dogs arse.

You lot have obviously never been to Consett - better than anywhere mentioned above.

Reason - plenty of friendly lasses who ain't too fussy.

Its also got a good golf course.

    Bart

PS - I will be going out there after the Villa game.

LOL I was reading through the posts just waiting for Cest's response, it was worth the wait :) :)

I am not going to join this argument as I am from Whitley Bay which was once a beautiful sea side holiday destination, it is now a **** hole.
