Love a bottle Rioja I generally have the campo viejo grand reserve from Morrison’s On special £13 bottle very nice I’ve had the Faustino but a bit expensive
No probs with a drink - slcohol doesn’t affect the effecasy of antibio’s. Skol, cheers, salud egc. etc.
Ya can tell we’ve had a good win, nobody shares names and prices of good drink after a **** game. It’s usually ‘**** this I’m getting slaughtered, won’t be back on till the takeover’.
I get my wines through Pieroth or Naked Wines or friends who bring it back with them from France n Spain. I'm down to my last 30 bottles. Announce this takeover and I'm not sure that will be enough
If you Google Exagon you'll find him. He was the one who first told me FPP were talking about buying the club. He's just called to say he's engaged and we've talked to his future wife, Chiara. In all honesty I've still no idea how an uneducated kid from a Durham pit village ever ended up in this state of eternal madness ... ... me Mam would be saying I should give me head a shake.
Lovely stuff i also like a Sancerre from its place name and also a Savignon Blanc from western Sicily. Thats it I have given most of my wine cellar clues. lol
Never knew there was a book available about him so just googled it, adding that to my Christmas list. Cheers
I love nights like this, everyone's buzzing, maybe a drink or 7 is being taken and all positive and in a good place. Love it, as someone once said.
Can i just say Smug i very very rarely post, as you can see but i feel more positive tonight than ever about the takeover and the whole team/club situation amazing what a good result can do, but it feels more than that to me at the moment. ive followed the ups and downs on this board for over a year theres been exctacy and agony, highs and lows but it now feels like it's about to come to a perfect end. Thanks to allthe ITKS you know who you are and should be congratulated on your bravery for raising your heads above the parapet on both boards and taking all the flack once again thank you from an a grateful old man
Very early days but it reminds of when Stokoe took over from Alan Brown. He straight away took the shackles off the players, the rest is history. We can but dream.
The Ruby is really nice mate, it’s my favourite, it’s 5.2% in the bottle but only 4.5% in the cans, the King Goblin is rocket fuel 6.6% very nice also, enjoy mate
Fridge full of Holstein pils and the Joshua fight, few bets on and a dirty kebab en route, I’ve had worse Saturdays, onward and upward STID
