I'm sure the Mail have twisted/exaggerated his words to be fair... he's probably reading it and thinking the same as us.

 

I don't remember Coleman suing us. Did we lose that case as well?

You are a good poster. Have been following you for years. But, may I ask. Why does it bother you so much what the muppets and keyboard warriors say?

At the end of the day there is a human behind each avatar as we well know, but these idiots only see an avatar and hide behind theirs. Message boards are anonymous for a reason. I think if you also expect that behavior (it is the internet remember), it can’t hurt you. You know it’s coming. There are plenty of people who are willing to have a serious discussion with you and that’s what keeps me on here certainly. The reasoned, well thought out posts. Not the noise, which is all it is.

Perhaps I don’t understand and must admit I am spending more time on here these days than RTG as it’s so polarized with people letting off.

There is a group of sensible posters both here and RTG, who I take notice of. The rest is just meh tbh. Perhaps it it would be different if real names, but likely not. It’s the same on Facebook.

That’s a bit of a ramble. But hope all is good with you, it should not get you down at all. Just stick them on ignore or perhaps we could set up a sub-group somewhere for proper discussions.

 

Speakman brought this term in. I listened to a podcast from when he was at Birmingham and he used the term multiple times then also. It’s been taken another way here (naturally due to the speculation) and I reckon it’s as simple as that.

 

I just watch the full 28 minutes of Johnson's interview and a few things struck me. For a guy who is incredibly precise, analytical and thinks thinks through, his answer on the ownership sounded a little vague to me, and brought the whole question of KLD/JS into doubt. I would have thought something like "I can't comment on the potential takeover" would have been better than to hear he has been asked to review the team for a "couple" of potential buyers. He must know that will send up red flags to the media and fans alike.
The club cannot mess this up..I have always thought this takeover will go through, however, after listening to LJ I am still confident, but not to the extent I was a week ago. Our club is simply the worst when it come to communicating info to long suffering fans who wouldn't take another kick in the knackers too kindly. Sort it out PRONTO !!!

 

My gran was a nurse and she said whenever anyone with nits died, the parasites would immediately jump ship and make a dash for it over the pillows.

This was my first thought about safc going into administration, it would be horrendous but at least we’d be rid of Stew and Charlie.

 

I can only answer for myself.

These people deliberately 'gang up' to swamp anything positive or even genuinely informative.

Even Grumpy Old Man is attacked. He can post the cold hard facts 100 times, about the reality of a financial situation, and the next post will be "I always said Donald was deliberately taking us into admin and there's the proof."

It's gradually ruining what was once a great forum and the people responsible know that ....

.... from a recent chat I had, with the forum owner, I don't think he's worried if it stops operating.

If that happens the people destroying the place will wonder why they did it.

I’ve read he has three websites, the other two are premier league clubs. RTG is the red haired stepson of the three, he won’t be too worried if it goes down the swanny.

GOM being attacked says it all. He deals in facts but gets abuse several times a day by those who think RTG is some kind of video game not people on a message board.

 

Was SD involved in LJ's recruitment. I thought LJ only said he had talked to SD not that he had been interviewed by him.

I don't know mate and its possibly 50% paranoia on my part but my heart sank when I heard LJ had a good chat with SD and then we hear SD has been representing the club in meetings. I honestly thought he was an absent owner and on his way out with no influence and that Rodwell would be running the club in the meantime. It just now appears that isn't the case. Hopefully the takeover deal goes through and we discover who has which % of ownership. My worry is this will be continually kicked down the road with snippets of info being deliberately leaked out as and when SD wants to control the narrative.
