mate supporting Leeds is like being with my ex girlfriend all over again, one bad word watching the match and no sex for weeks, she was a true supporter and together we probably watched more matches together than a lot on here, I don't pretend i have two loves in my life as the lads who have read about me know , nowt to hide what you see is what you get, and since i found this site ill be here supporting when i can, trying to add a bit of humour as well

I think someone needs to tell Bielsa that having the possession means f`all as long as you don`t score goals. And if you don`t score goals, you lose:emoticon-0148-yes:

I would need oxygen before the start, but I don't profess to be a footballer

We can carry one poor player but not 5 or 6
Time to forget the hype and get serious

funny that mate i see it another way and remember how long it was being trapped down among the dead men, a massive club with die hard support the rest could only dream of, now that Leeds has arisen from the ashes it was always going to take time and money before fighting for European honours again, There will still be some pain before the gain but i don't think it will take long, a little patience get behind the team, it could be better performances will come when the supporters are allowed back, as the noise this lot makes is worth a goal lead

I agree with you, but we have to accept we are new to this league, it is a massive step up.
We do score goals, which a lot of the teams below us don't and yes we concede, especially at set pieces.
Our only aim is to survive this season and improve our squad with class players.
Surely a left back is a must.

Meslier - 7. Should have stopped the first goal. Two world class saves redeemed his performance.

Dallas - 4. Started on the right, switched to the left. Had no joy on either side. Outmuscled for the first goal. Gave posession away cheaply.

Cooper - 4. Dived in a couple of times and got nowhere near the ball. Lost his man for the second goal. Couple of good interceptions inbetween.

Ayling - 8. Great game. Our best defender. Probably our best midfielder on the night too. Tried everything to drag us through this game. Shame nobody else helped him.

Alioski - 4. He tried. Rightly hooked at half time. Two poor games in a row after two good performances. Typical Alioski.

Phillips- 6. Did well in patches. Tried to get us going but had his hands full with Benrahma. Usually came out on top but left for dead on a couple of occasions. Declan Rice outshone him tonight.

Klich - 4. Another on two bad games in a row. Usually Mr consistent but nothing worked tonight. Needs to buck up next game.

Rodrigo - 5. Looked rusty and off pace. Missed a couple of golden chances. Never really linked play and turned in to trouble too often instead of making the easy pass.

Harrison - 3. Weak defensively and continued his poor form offensively. Very fortunate if picked again next game. Massively out of form.

Raphinha - 7. Full of running, made defenders make decisions. Looks like something could happen when he gets the ball. Couple of dodgy passes and not much to show for all his efforts.

Bamford - 7. Won the penalty. Worked hard. Decent link up play. Looked a handful. Suprised when he went off.

    Subs.

Costa - 2. Only kept posession on one occasion from what I saw. Gave free kick away which led to second goal. May aswell have had a West Ham shirt on. Very poor.

Shackleton - 5. Emergency right back. Started brightly but his light faded as the second half went on. Not the answer as a right back.

Roberts - 5. Came on but one run in behind apart, did nothing to stem the flow. We seem to have our priorities wrong if Spain's number 9 can't get the gig in front of this kid.

Overall - disappointing performance. Passing was off all night. Our defending at set pieces may get us relegated if it continues. We miss Klich in the middle. He is massively out of form the last two games and the team has fallen apart because of it. Tonight suggests it might be a long slog to the magic 40 point mark. Not good at all.

Awful second half and well beaten, we lost all attacking cohesion... don’t think costa and Shackleton will be the double sub of choice again... but set pieces are just unforgivable

... we pass back to the keeper on ours, and stand and watch them have free headers on theirs

Hey, we can’t set the world on fire every week, but very disappointing tonight. Need to up it against Newcastle, need something from that game to arrest the slide.

For the first time this season I’m a bit concerned about having to scrap for points.

Raphinha, Phillips, Ayling and Rodrigo were the only ones who could pass a ball today.

Costa came on and looked totally uninterested. Bamford and Rodrigo missed glorious chances again. Cooper was poor in defence, we need a proper LB

Bielsa said afterwards we’re working at defending set pieces but we’re still not good enough defending them

I never thought we would get to a position to fight for European honours. But I did think we would not struggle to stay up. Now, I`m not to sure. Think we are in for a looong season:emoticon-0106-cryin Oh and I will always support the team:emoticon-0148-yes::emoticon-0100-smile
