Doesn't reflect too well on SCP. He was a player I had high hopes for, and his performance against Millwall was painful to watch. A few minutes before he was hooked I thought he was getting over his stage fright, but I knew SCP would take him off. Few fans would back any of our strikers to score more than him this season.
Just more evidence of what a bunch of tools Duchatelet installed at the Club after he took over. He and his inappropriate CEO didn't know the first thing about how to run an English football Club, and did not care either.
Took his goal well yesterday albeit given far too much time & space. I wonder if the club might go back in for him when the wage cap is lifted after promotion.,
I can see an offer being made if we don't get promotion, but is he a second-level player? I would expect the sights to be set a bit higher if we are at second level and looking to build a challenge for first level.
