Got to say, irrelevant of the takeover situation - I’m very happy with Speakman and Johnson.

The need for a takeover actually feels less now than it did 2 weeks ago. Can’t believe I’m saying that but I feel we are in better hands than we were with Parkinson and a part timer (but very knowledgeable) TV presenter running things.

obviously it goes without saying that a takeover is an absolute must. But it’s probably dropped from 100% necessary to 99% necessary

the very fact this change has happened at all suggests all concerned think the takeover is happening, or at least did 6 days ago. I think we could all just do with it being sorted either way (hopefully the right way)

 

I think there are a lot of people misinterpreting Johnsons two consortium comments especially on RTG. Its much more likely this happened months ago before the period of exclusivity when groups are looking at how viable their bids are, part of that is looking at a manager to run it and of course you talk to lots of people and ask them to look at the squad and how much work it would need doing. It does not mean he’s been approached in the last week by the groups and on its own is not a sign of the takeover being off.

 

As l see that, and l have not listen to the interview is the new Ownership Group is made up of four people identified by the itk info as KLD, JS, SD, and CM, so why on earth would the head coach not speak to any of those 4 without reference to New Ownership group.
I am aware of the concerns and anxieties at the moment, but there is nowt we can do, so patience is required until clarity is ascertained

I think the fans need answers and quick. It really is dragging on now. How long have things supposedly just waiting to be signed off by the efl? A long time considering it’s not meant to be a full takeover. God knows what the reaction will be if it falls through.

 

Doesn't sound like any sort of takeover or investment etc is "done" to me.

 

yeh - my take on what he was saying there was that he was asked for his independent view of the squad from way before he was appointed

 

I think it's time the fans groups pushed for the cancelled meeting from last month to be rescheduled and soon, as in before Xmas and preferably by next Friday. It's a month to the day since the last one was supposed to be held and that's an absolute joke and has only served one purpose. To give SD an extra 4 weeks with no questions whatsoever!

 

still find it difficult to believe that Speakman and Johnson ( and his assistant ) would have been appointed unless something was either done or imminent ...But we really need to hear soon, this has dragged on way too long now

 

Im still positive its going ahead, I am about to finish work and will be calling to the shops for some Stella a bottle of that Jamshed wine Ive became addicted to then I will have a shower and get blasted out of my brains. Cheer up lads its nearly Christmas we have a new manager whos full of positivity and promises more attacking football, the sporting director is brimming with confidence as well, Parky and his doom & gloom tactics and appearance is long gone also. Im actually looking forward to the match tomorrow.

aye, just a "relax" message from prehab. Its all very worrying, but mainly due to past experience and a complete lack of trust in the ****er who currently owns us

 

A relax message doesnt make you feel that confident, they have hardly put anything on here all week. Hopefully they are just busy or cant be arsed to keep posting till something happens.

 

Yeah I feel the same. For me, sort the structure and invest. Whoever does that, and appoints the right people, fine by me.

 

I find it very strange that the ITK's on here have disappeared.

That in itself raises questions about why they would do that.

 

Absolutely no way Donald has paid for Speakman and Johnson.

They probably cost more than both managers employed by Donald during his time here.

There is no way he's paid for both to be employed at the same time.

 

We need the two Oxford ****wits out of our club they have took the piss for to long

 

I don't read it your way mind... My take is that Donald still has his F in mitts all over this.

 

Just listen to the LJ interview and he does mention SD as the majority owner but until it's announced that would be obvious
If NDA's are still in place that's one reason for lack of info, also we believe it's gone to ELF for ratification, well what more can be said about that until they make there judgement, lastly maybe itk's info has dried up or been asked to keep their heads low.
