Joshua will out box Pulev, keep him on the end of his jab, and slowly break him down, before sparking him. That’s my prediction.
I am just questioning why Joshua fighting behind the jab is considered boring and stinks but not Fury when that is exactly how he fights.
I don’t get the Joshua hate tbh. He’s only been taken the distance by Parker & Ruiz, both of whom he comprehensively outboxed. He got taught a harsh lesson by Ruiz in the first fight, and then boxed his head off in the rematch, in a very professional and controlled manner. Pulev will desperately try to get inside and then if he doesn’t get his shots off will grab and hold given half a chance, which is why Joshua will keep him at arms length and out box him. Fury has been taken the distance 10 times and been involved in some incredibly dull fights. Yet people seem to have forgotten them all, because of what he did to Wilder. Funny old game.
Same here if I am honest but there aren't many fighters like that around - Wilder is the only high level heavyweight that I can think of that fights like that off the top of my head. I do enjoy the art of boxing though - was a big fan of Lewis back in the day.
I can respect both. My two recent favourites have been Lomachenko and Golovkin, who couldn't be more stylistically different.
Pulev hasn’t got the tools to beat AJ, he’s nowhere near fast enough. I’d be stunned if this fight goes beyond 8 rounds. Eddie Hearn should be putting this crap out for free. £25 for this chod.
How can you find a boxer (who can box) who’s knocked out 21 of his 24 opponents ‘boring’? The Klitschko fight was a blinder, had a bit of everything.
Pulev is the mandatory challenger - only fight that Joshua could have taken without losing a belt would have been Fury but that obviously didn't happen.
I'm mean he's dull outside the ring I personally don't think the Mr nice guy persona is good for the sport... Just my view I guess I'm in a moronic minority.. I want him to win at the end of the day.. I don't dislike him he seems a nice guy.
Ruiz didn't have the tools to beat Joshua either but we know how that ended - this is what makes boxing fun to watch.
