At least, with the easy group we've been given, Southgate can rotate players.
I reckon our U21s would probably qualify from that group.

Qualifying all seems pointless now as England seem to be the "flat track bullies" of qualifying groups, never helps when we meet someone decent...
    Gone are the days of
    Germany 1-5 Eng (Owen)
    Italy 0-0 Eng (Ince)
    Holland 2-0 Eng (Koman)
Eng 1-1 Poland (Jan "the clown")

Can only beat what's put in front of them.
We've done well in recent tournaments and I'm hopeful for next year's Euros, although Southgate's love of 3-4-3 worries me.

The break up of the USSR has seen a multitude of "lesser" teams join UEFA, so now there are more groups which keeps the big boys apart - which I don't think helps England when it comes to tournaments. The Nations League has tried to address this by introducing more competetive matches for the bigger nations, and whilst England did well in the first tournament, making it to the finals, their last outing didn't really end in glory. Next years Euros will be interesting to see how the team cope with the expectations of the country, especially as a lot of the matches will be at Wembley...

I think the intensity of this season with it's late start and and short close season last summer will catch us up at the Euros allied to Southgate's tactical shortcomings. Good though to see the Germans looking fragile recently...
