They just care about keeping the hospitals and the morgues empty don't they? Who cares if I get covid and pass it on if it doesn't do any damage to anyone who has been vaccinated. Once your immune system has been trained it deals with it better next time - and given this isn't going to go away this is quickest way to jump the queue for some initial training.
The hospitals have been empty since May, the morgues are experiencing no excess deaths for this time of year other than from the hangover from trashing the wonderful NHS during the summer so it looks like the immune system has already dealt with the virus which was always going to happen as that's why there is 8bn of us, our immune system works great most of the time. The virus is away - PCR testing is the problem. Stop testing, we are back to normal.
Vallance says masks until next winter so can't see it. What I suspect will happen is that cases will drop, because the virus is following normal trends for respiratory viruses, the Govts will take credit for that by hailing the vaccine, and we will enter a new normal of medical tyranny and anti-human rules because you are killing folk with germs and deaths must stop you animals. Everyone has lost their minds. I'd have thought liberal @Micko would be on the side of the individual but looks like he's been emotionally hijacked by the fear and blame propaganda and surrendered his scruples to the megalomaniacal State and compliant media. Old people and those with underlying comorbidities are ALWAYS susceptible to respiratory viruses and will be until the end of time. We can't go back to normal until these deaths are halted.
It's not just one state though, it's all of them - including several (Trump, Bojo, Putin, Bolsonaro) who denied that Covid was a serious thing, until they couldn't any more. Malta closed the borders in March and didn't really have a proper first wave, then in July after about 5 people altogether had died (in the entire country over 4 months) they opened the airports and told everyone the pandemic was over. Now we're back in semi lockdown again and we're having a couple of deaths per day. The Maltese PM is highly embarrassed at getting up and telling everyone the thing is over in July (look at the chart below how stupid that seems now). The idiot is not locking stuff down again because he's conspiring to make himself look stupid, he's doing it because he has to as the medical profession started industrial action as the hospitals started filling up.
A side effect of the vaccine is that your hair falls out but thankfully for Micko...........................
I can’t see you small image but everything else you’ve said seems to confirm you’ve lost your principles because of a cold which was deadlier than normal to old folk but now isn’t as there’s community immunity. Explain Sweden, South Korea, Japan and China. But focus on Sweden, who had no LDs, no masks, no closures and less deaths than us. Hospitals fill up in winter but many hospitals are emptier than normal for this time of year despite what the Govts tell us. They are lying to us and the sheeple are too scared or ignorant to notice.
Depends what version of events you want to swallow. Scotland has 5k deaths but Sturgeon has 2 versions of the deaths but like for like with Sweden, we have a worst death rate.
I thought Sweden started off well but then it got worse? It has about double the population and double the deaths. More importantly, have you ever eaten at Argyle House and if so, is it any good?
Yeah, but what is normal for this time of year Ciaran? Do they have 50% ICU occupancy for this time of year or are they normally close to capacity? I’ll bet they are normally full as hospitals are designed to be near capacity all the time or otherwise, they will be operating inefficiently.
Sweden have stated well and are still doing well. Scotland has 5k deaths, Sweden 6.5k despite them having double the population. Argyle house good but been a few years since I went for my 27th birthday.
That would surely depend if the hospitals are private or public. I am guessing the powers that be are delighted if the public ones aren't full.
Did Sweden do a lot of testing, as they have had over 300k cases, which is surely a lot more than double the amount of cases Scotland have had? Weird that some countries have a tiny death rate, like Israel was 0.38% or something and the likes of Spain must be 10x that?
It’s the testing that is the problem Iain. Anyone with half a brain and isn’t drunk on media panic can see that. No excess deaths for this time of year yet we are supposed to be in the grip of the worst pandemic since 1918 and I dire need of a rushed through vaccine that the Govt says they don’t know if it stops you getting CV19 or passing it on. Laughable if it wasn’t so tragic.
