It definitely should.....they come over here all the time for matches...theres a great picture of about 50 of them outside the Queen Vic with a '**** The Mags' banner which stretches the length of them
There's been a number of theories on this over the years, but the likely truth is the shipbuilding link. When our shipbuilding industry declined some workers from Sunderland moved to Rotterdam to get work and began watching Feyenoord....the colours are the same. When these lads moved back home, the link remained. Seems plausible.
Just watched LJ interview after the match last night and am liking what he says. No shrinking away and acceptance of poor performances of the past. Backing up the positive play from last night and sending a clear message to fans that there is a lot of work to do but he is relishing the challenge

Looks like the Mike Dodds Info I got was bollocks, apologies lads and lasses - it was posted in good faith. It might have been something that was on the cards then he got given a promotion at Brum?
The local press in Birmingham were reporting he was expecting to follow Speakman as well. So definitely sounds like he was offered to stay at last minute. clearly a lot of disruption and movement there.
A tie in with Feyenoord would be sensational mind, the players they produce! Had the pleasure of a game there with a pal of mine who’s from Rotterdam and **** me what an experience the whole stadium bounces it was mental.
At the end of the day it may be a blessing in disguise as now we can look at bringing in a new face for us and for Speakman and it may give us the chance for a new perspective for us and for him who knows as long as we take the time to appoint the right person because as we build we have to ensure that the right people are in the right positions to help move club forward
Posting anything at all, before an official statement, is always a risk. You only have to look the Advocat, Allardyce and Ashley situations how rapidly situations can change.
