Wowzers.. alleged racism by an official... https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....psg-racism-champions-league-b1768287.html?amp
lol so he said "go to the black guy" Ba is absolutely wrong, I often say to my foreign workers "go over to that white guy" Man the **** up you whining mules.
I’m ****ing sick of this ****. Why are we still having this problem. Where is the respect. Ffs as a society of people how can this still be happening at any level let alone like this. It breaks my heart how **** people are.
This isn't even a black person thing, but I'm sure black people will rally around Ba for this clip and ruin the refs entire life for using his own language. this is a celebrity thing, entitled nobodies who can kick footballs determining peoples lives even when wrong. Demba and those 10 other players are poorly educated ignorant people, blessed with an ability to kick a ball. The coach is a fool, an angry one, taking out his frustration and probably trying to avoid a red by overreacting. They got angry and didn't think, Demba's nonsense "you dont call a white person that white guy" is a blatant attempt to save face and diffuse the situ into a "life lesson" I truly hope these fools are taken to task, infact, they should be docked points for ending the match. But that wont happen that ref will be fired.
Obviously there's no place for racism in life, but the official was probably only trying to get an instruction or message across regarding Ba, and whoever he was speaking too wasn't sure who he was talking about and he simply said "the black guy" as he was stood amongst a bunch of people who weren't black. Calling someone black isn't racist, it's sad how the world has degenerated into this nonsense. I was playing football last night and someone said "watch that black guy up front he's pretty decent". No one walked off the pitch or even cared.
The officials life is over Medias going after him... I feel sorry for him. Big name players tweeting about it being racist, so the guys absolutely ****ed and it'll hurt his family in the process I'm sure. Not having this one it's a witch hunt I mean can we still use the best questions in guess who? It's just a descriptive word... People used to say coloured, but that was changed to something they preferred.
I can not agree with the walk off but I'm also wary that in a foreign language like Romanian the word for "black" is "negru" and with everything else going on at the time this could well have been misconstrued but should have been able to be resolved within seconds with a simple conversation and explanation but passions run high in football and it's hard to have a logical discussion with someone who's all fired and riled up. Demba Ba getting all the credit for standing up to a "racist" is ridiculous, even his point "you don't say the white guy" is irrelevant because they weren't talking about a white guy. Picture the scene you have a load of different races, lets say an Asian, a Black guy and a White guy (this is not going into a "enter the bar" joke I promise), all sat on a bench wearing the same clothes/uniform - how do you differentiate them obviously and quickly? Also I'd ask are Pierre Webo and Demba Ba saying they have never described a white guy as a.... wait for it....a white guy? #OhNoHeDidnt Any of you honky, peckerwood, crackers disagree?
My daughter arguing yesterday that you can't call a little black kid a "cheeky little monkey" because it is or could be taken that you mean a "monkey" and therefore racist, despite using the term in an affectionate manner as meaning naughty or lively. Its deemed ok to use it for a little white kid though. Bonkers.
please log in to view this image Snowflakes are fantastic really aren't they?? If that was a bench full of black guys, with one white guy, is anyone seriously thinking that the official on wanting to single out the white guy, wouldn't have said "the white guy". Of course he ****ing would. The problem is one of cultures I suspect. Reality is they have heard the word "negru". The same goes for our recent Uruguayan issue. Negro and negru, unfortunately its not avoidable unless we are now going to be arrogant and demand they change their language because we consider it racist? If anything this is ignorance on the part of Ba and Webo. But I wouldn't actually expect them to understand Romanian so I'd take a fairly relaxed attitude to their indiscretion. I read someone else say that identifying someone by their skin colour is racist. Really? I would have thought it was an observation and quite helpful in identifying people. Chaos made an excellent point about Guess Who. Its funny a childs game can show us so simply that we are over complicating these issues which is leading to bigger problems. Outright racism, you can **** off for me. Stuff like this? I'm afraid the snowflakes need to grow a pair.
Christ, only the other day I said to a mate “it’s that ginger lass over there” Suprised I didn’t get accused of hair racism. Can’t do jack **** these days without second guessing yourself, everyone’s snowflakes these days. Funny how white people don’t even give a second thought to being called “that white man” .. Can’t help but feel some players play up to this now, causing bother for nout.
I’m only guessing but on what I have read it would seem to fall under the heading of an apparent misunderstanding and not racism something along the lines of what Pouchy has already said. It looks like Demba has “heard” negro whereas the Official has said negru and has become upset about the term he believed he heard. Things have then escalated out of control. One thing I learned way back when is that racism in its true form is not what people say it’s what people mean. Yes we all, quite rightly, have to be careful about the words we use but I cannot accept the mere use of describing someone by referring to them as black is in itself racist. It could be racist depending upon the context of how the word was used but we don’t know so cannot say for certain whether it was said with racist intent or not. Only the Official knows the answer to that but it seems to many people want to jump on the moral bandwagon without giving the Official a chance to explain. Sadly, that is the World we seem to be living in.
Just think for a moment, would the match have been abandoned and made such a big headline if there was a full house? Absolutely no ****in way.
