And we don't have a great recent record of players recovering from long term injuries.

Without Pablo last season we were poor, he made us tick.

Klich is much more comfortable with the master in the team

Pablo was involved in the most goals/assists in the championship last season

    Our midfield should read :

    Hernandez, Klich, Rodrigo, Raphinha

Those four make our midfield look total class, sadly that isn't the case!

Currently we are leaving our £27m record signing on the bench & Pablo out in the cold for players with less ability. The rule is if you can run like stink for 90 minutes you're in the first X1

No disrespect to Ali or Jack

Ali struggled to hold down a regular place when we were in the championship & the same old deficiencies of Harrison's game appears even more evident at a higher level but they can run & put in loads of energy which seems to override the class factor

I'm concerned with the team selection & the fact we still can't defend efficiently when the ball is crossed into our box.

We won one headed clearance out of nine crosses v Chelsea, guess who you can give credit for that one header? not a defender but none other than Patrick Bamford. Says a lot for our CB's & other defenders who stood rigid to the ground ball watching rarely jumping for the ball. It's the same at the other end, how often do we win the ball in the air, let alone score from a header?

With Koch out for god knows how long I would seriously consider giving Struijk another go to play alongside Cooper or Llorente, Pascal is a natural CB & is a big strong lad who may add a bit of muscle & aerial dominance at the back

Another good mix, however we haven't seen that four too

Harrison, Alioski & Poveda seem to be ahead in the pecking order unfortunately

Yes Pablo was class last season. But that was last season in the Championship. He is a year older and we have bought in new better younger players. Time to put Pablo out to pasture.

The players who you say are not good enough in this league, Were they good enough against Everton? Arsenal? Villa? City? Liverpool?

You are either a WUM or you haven't actually watched Leeds this season.

Harrison, Alioski and Poveda ahead in the pecking order unfortunately.

    Unfortunately??????

What in the hell have you seen from any of them to feel they don't deserve the minutes they have got?

All three have stepped up a level. Harrison has looked great so far if not at his best on Saturday.

Alioski has done exactly what is needed of him. Stepped up when needed. Will not be a starter every week but will not let us down when needed.

Poveda looks like an absolute gem and as an impact sub has been brilliant. But then he didn't throw himself to the ground, bin him.

I’d not ever start with Alioski unless forced to do so myself. I’m not convinced with Poveda yet either, I’m not writing him off but I’d not complain if Costa jumped ahead in the queue

Yeah i think Costa is a better option to start by no denying Povedas talent.

Rodrigo needs to start so Klich can drop to where Dallas is playing and he can move to left back keeping Alioski as a squad player.

I’d go with Llorente and Struijk, Cooper is light weight, re run last weeks match and watch him defending set pieces.

Sorry to say that Allex Sabella passed away today and he was a big mate of Bielsa and managed Argentina too after Bielsa. He also played for Leeds Utd <peacedove><peacedove>

"No disrespect to Ali or Jack"

    That's arguable.

What's not arguable is your disrespect for Bielsa. I suspect he knows a whole lot more about what's going on than you do.

Jack has been up & down like a yo yo. Alioski has improved this season but he's not great defensively. Cooper has been ok, struggled a bit with injuries

I'm a big fan of Ayling & Dallas. Bamford has done really well.

Meslier, Phillips & Klich are top notch

Cheers Jock. I'm absolutely certain he knows much more than I ever will about football

I love Bielsa, best manager we've had in a very long time. Had we not appointed Bielsa we'd still be plodding about in the championship.

I appreciate everything he has achieved at Leeds

This is a Leeds forum, surely as a fan we are allow an opinion

First of all you have to be classified as a left wing snowflake or an alt right fascist, note there is nothing in-between. Then, and only then are you are allowed an opinion. As far as I know, you sir, have not been classified. Please submit your views relating to a random subject related to race, elections, Biden, Trump, Brexit, marxism, Johnson, Scottish independence, antifa, any white supremacist group or similar approved and I'm sure an assessment will be swiftly made. Alternatively could you please post sensible comments more frequently, especially about football.
