Uttoxeter 12.45 Barrys Jack Well handicapped on old form and comeback after long layoff 2 runs ago was encouraging when 2nd at Carlisle. Well supported in the market last time out at Southwell when he couldn't deliver. Worth another chance with testing conditions tomorrow in his favour. Brian Hughes booked tomorrow and the Ellison yard had several placed last 14 days so could return to the winners enclusure tomorrow.
Fontwell 3.38 Crystal Spirit Won a novice hurdle in January 2020 on heavy ground. Gets testing conditions for the first time this season and is on a career low mark over hurdles. Robbie Dunne a positive booking.
Morning 2.47 Uttoxeter-Dentley De Mee Each Way @ 6-1 [Bet 365] Coming back in trip could work the oracle
Sorry to do this to you again LG but I fancy one in that race too today. HIER ENCORE 13/2 Ran much better than the bare result implies in the Salmon Spray last time. He was stopped in his tracks when in a challenging position three from home. He wasn’t going to win but he was in the process of running a very big race from seven pounds wrong in the handicap. He had put in solid efforts in his previous races. He runs here from a mark seven pounds lower so in effect is a stone better off than he was the last day and has a useful conditional on to boot. He has been on the drift since the market opened which I cannot fathom as he looks to have an excellent chance back down in grade today.
Henderson has current stable form of 1 winner with his last 10 runners and 2 from his last 20. So hardly impressive. Neil the Legend waves the flag today.
Nassalam getting a bit more respect after today, third choice behind 2 of Elliots. I thought theyd have made him joint fav after that debut but was generally 25s, that was before Zanahiyr won impressively and became a stupidly short price fav.
That looked horrific at Wolves. Ben Curtis laid unconscious immediately after being ran over by a horse. Any updates, please keep us informed here.
Wow. My initial reaction was he might never see the light of day again, it really did look horrific. All horses ok?
They said both horses and Hornby were up ok but it looked to me that Hornbys mount went wrong, maybe just a very bad stumble
