Whoever falls over taking the knee loses..! Not making light of the important basis here, just being typical Surreyhoop and saying life goes on so lets not argue about it...
Probably more relevant for this thread, Clive’s preview is a very good read on the topic. https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/news/53611
Why is she wrong? I’ve explained the reasons why sportsmen and women have taken the knee and raised the fist and that every last one of them who have commented as to their motivation, along with clubs have stated it was a show of support and solidarity to the equality movement. Are you still claiming that it’s the raising of the fist they booed? If so why didn’t they boo the QPR player who used the same stance and please explain why there a whole bunch of Millwall fans as well as others who support the actions all over social media who have given the Marxist BLM excuse which had been busted because of statements from the clubs and I’ve not seen one single example where anyone using the Marxist excuse has been able to define Marxism and the aspects of Marxism they are against. If the reason they are giving is a flat out lie, what motivations are they trying to hide?
Looks like the 4th official from Romania had a go at the Turkish team’s assistant manager who was sent off. He’s Pierre Webo, ex Cameroon international. So it’s an official being accused of racism, and Istanbul players led the walk off. So Millwall FC deciding not to take the knee means they agree with the ‘fans’ who booed them doing it a couple of days ago? All this nuance is hurting my head.
