He spoke really well tonight, clearly a very intelligent person.

I'd wager we will see him make a fine manager in the not so distant future.

Not to get carried away but

A win against Sheffield Utd and we can go 3rd on Sunday, just a point behind spurs and Liverpool.

Chelsea have a tricky tie away to Everton Saturday whilst Leicester, spurs and Liverpool all play after us.:smiley-finger007:

Convo in my house just now:

"Look, you won the bloody game, so I hope you will actually fill the dishwasher tonight"

    "Yes dear"

    Goals. by situation:

    Set-pieces - 7.
    Danny Ings - 6.
    All others scenarios - 8.

We're second in the league in goals from dead ball situations (with 9; Chelsea has 10), but we have a decisive lead over the rest of the PL in goals by Danny Ings.

Good work Spoon Boy. I guess we don’t need to call you ‘Spoon Boy’ any more.

Hey, everyone. Go easy on the whole Spoon Boy thing now.

Whats-his-name’s redeemed himself as far as I’m concerned.

    But, but, but....

we came from a losing position to win

we won on a Monday night live game.

we actually got given a really decisive dodgy decision

Well played Spoon Boy. That ain’t going nowhere

Mmm, good point. Maybe we should have a poll or something. If everyone agrees to call thing-a-ma-jig Spoon Boy, then it's cool by me too.

18 months ago we would have lost that game in the same circumstances Brighton did. Its a huge credit to Ralph (how wrong was I!) that he has the team stealing 3 points away from home when not even playing that well.

Yeah we're only one mistake away from dropping points but who isn't? Its the Premier league. Ralph has got us playing like a top 6 team at the moment and I'm more than happy with winning ugly. 3 points on Sunday and we're over half way to staying up :emoticon-0100-smile

I've also come to the conclusion that vesty is a reverse Samson. Since getting his haircut he has become a ****ing legend.

Vestegaard has more goals this season than Martial, Aguero and Aubameyang combined...

I was watching the post match Saints Live podcast (really worth watching) and reading the comments in chat box, there are still people moaning about not getting the ball up the field quick enough, to many backwards passing and back passes. Hope they aren't part of the fans we let back into SMS otherwise we could see our home form drop again

Having watched the highlights. What the hell was JWP doing with his arm in the air like that!? That was some header by Big Vester! And how the hell was that a penalty for us <laugh>. Almost as bad as the one we got for the foul on Fonte a few years ago which was neither a foul nor in the box :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Great 3 points on the road that! Brighton are a decent team.

They gave it to excuse Brighton the embarrassment of being the next victim of a JWP free kick

Our current win ratio is. .... Get this.... A massive 55%. Yes statistically we are more likely to get a win than either a draw or loss. And that's going back to second half of last season too.. can't get my head round that !

Vestergaard is vastly improved. Admit that I used to hate seeing him on the pitch, but now I'm actually happy! And suddenly we seemed to have noticed he's really tall and look for him on set pieces :D

The one thing I really dont like though, is when he goes rampaging forward from defence. The move so often breaks down and the opposition have a dangerous attack at the other end. Used to play centre back like that myself, and only now do I realise why the rest of the team shouted at me to stay back :)
