I think Mercedes have an opportunity to save £40m next year :bandit:

They've had to let staff go eariler in the year and they also Furlowed some staff. They must be thinking of it, especialy how well Russell interviewed and how much Lewis hates doing sponsorship events.

The other side of the coin is Lewis has opportunity to be driver with most world championships ever, nice for Merc to be part of the record. I think Lewis is worth the huge salary next year just for record books. 2022 is big question mark. Today will change negotiating positions of both sides. Lewis will be working so hard to get back in Merc next week so George can't show any more greateness.

Would you really want to lose Hamilton, and run the risk of him rocking up at a rival in 2021? Just get him and Russel in there. That would make for some fireworks! :)

Really gutted for young George, what a mature performance in and out of the car.
A star is born, I want to see him up against Charles and Max every race.
