London is packed full of statues to the great and the good as well as some rather obscure Crimean War era bigwigs. Many of these were funded through public donation but others were paid for by the people themselves or their families. Some are controversial figures for sure but just because we don't know everything about them shouldn't mean anyone has the right to remove them just in case they might offend people.

How many thousands or millions of times have Woke protestors driven by or walked past a statue of some pompous looking bloke on a horse and not given a single shiny f.uck about who he was or what he did? Fast forward to 2020 and these same people are all crowded around the statue waving poorly written placards decrying Lord Snootlebury as the most racist pig in the world.

If the statue is of an old, white, rich Victorian chances are it is on the hit list.

I like a bit of public art and that is what I think these statues are. Modern art has its place, those Gormley statues on the South Bank a while ago were fantastic, but historical statues have their place too and should be left alone instead of falling victim to the whims of snowflake protesters.

Correct, balooba is somebody who is thick or stupid, but baloobas is get very drunk, but in a fun way, not in an aggressive way.

Why do you want statues taken down? There is a statue of Cromwell outside Parliament, he killed half of Ireland fs and I've never heard anyone even mentioning it. The Royal Victoria Hospital is slap bang on the Falls Road, and named after the Famine Queen, again I've never heard anyone wanting a name change, it's The Royal and even Gerry ****ing Adams has no problem calling it that.

It's entitled ****s who think they're the kindest most thoughtful generation ever on earth being allowed to fo whatever the **** they want.

Show me where I have said I want statues taking down? For the last ****ing time, I couldn't give a **** about statues. I am not the one going on about them on here, it's all the Mail reading EDL spastics (include yourself) doing that.


But while we're on the subject, how many statues of Hitler are there in Berlin? How many statues of Stalin in Russia? What do you think would happen if there was a statue of King Billy at the end of your street?
