patience is a virtue! even a skilled baker never knows his cake will come out the oven perfect!

He ripped into Emily Morgan yesterday for not listening, and it is trial and error .. even Gen: indecision must, after basing everything on hindsight, start to recognise we are dealing with a very difficult virus, there is no way to say we do this this and that and problem sorted.
We now after the good news "we have a vaccine" have to live with the problems it now presents us with ……... distribution!
    THE FIRST GROUPING …. NHS … care workers/ homes/ over 80's [90's ] has hit a big snag already …. -70c! [ a tray has 975 doses ] …

my take so far there are 400 trays [ 800 dose is twice ] of the vaccine available after this weekend. Southmead is earmarked as a front line distributor... NHS hospitals of similar standing throughout UK is probably about 120? maybe another 120 as BRI and 120+ capable as A&E with ability to take on mass innoculations????? from the moment it is useable they state life expectancy of vaccine is 5 days or <5days !.
    My local surgery did flu jabs every 10 mins about 8am to 8pm 12 hours x 6 = 72 per day x 5.5 = 396 per week!
Covid for 1 tray 975 / 5 = 195 per day or in 12 hour shift = about 1 every 3.5 mins ! not allowing for breaks! THE TASK IS IMMENSE...……..

Stockwood has about 300 in care/sheltered housing inc staff a large doctors unit 5 doctors possibly 6 with 2 welfare/ care nurses and 2 chemist shops ..seems to be a good area for its own distribution!

Whilst I appreciate freedom of speech, she just loves the sound of her own voice and I tend to ignore 99% of her spoutings! We all have a choice whether to take the vaccine or not - it's an individual decision and nothing to do with government pressure.

As an aside, it has taken months to get the vaccine to this point - not the time it takes her to take a pee or shave her legs - unless of course she has one massive bush around those things she walks on!!

Fair play listening to that 1% of her rubbish.
This vaccine would of probably been sooner it was them waiting to be immunity from all blame before they proceeded to come up with it.
One thing that to remember is Pfizer invented viagra so if they can raise the dead a cure for the living shouldn’t be to “hard”
Or switching to @oneforthebristolcity mode. Maybe it’s a con and the side effects is erectile disjunction and we are all forced to buy viagra

Why is it rubbish just because you don't agree with it.........It's an alternative viewpoint not coming from the usual mainstream dictating sources that the gullible majority suck up to!!
Sorry I thought that's why our hero's fought wars for, freedom of speech & non dictatorship..

As I have commented before I am old enough to remember how we all used to queue up in school to be given the polio, tb, diptheria innoculations, vaccinations, by god it protected us all back then, I can't see why modern vesions are such a threat, small pox eliminated worldwide, protected from flu, hiv people quite rightly living normal lives, even tetinus jabs by the thousand protecting us.

Vaccines work for me, I'm no expert but I am a survivor, not gullible, I will be there but having experienced vaccines I will be first in the queue when my turn comes,I have complete faith in the life saving value of the new vaccines.

Good luck to those that don't, you are quite right you have a choice and long may that be.

"We lost all our business in the October half-term from the firebreak lockdown, which was a real first blow. We were promised everything would open up for Christmas and now we're in the same situation."

Viagra [ maybe not called Viagra ] was in use for years, in medical circles, operations before it was a male stimulant for erectile issues. A medic noticed patients having an op with the "Viagra ingreidients" as part of it medication were always / mostly suffering from an erect manhood! It is produced in DUBLIN!

I had the same at school, I haven't got a clue if they worked for me or not.....would I have contracted those diseases, who's to know!
I've never had a flu jab, but also I've never flu...the last time I had a tetinus jab was back in 1982 when I caught 7 roof tiles in my mouth, (requiring half a dozen stitches) playing catch on a long bed truck, participating in a bit of demolition whilst living in Norwich!! Did it protect me? Who knows!
I say good luck to those that have it at such early stages (nobody is certain how long it lasts) I'm keeping everything crossed that it's not required for travelling, otherwise I will have no choice but to join in with the controlled!! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Slightly off-piste, but a friend of a friend owns a pub near Bristol which sells viagra ‘under the counter’ and does a roaring trade - but interestingly the vast majority of his customers are YOUNG blokes.
I was very surprised at this but I’ve every reason to trust the source.
Why would young guys need that stuff? Over-use makes you blind I’ve heard.
