Going to number one daughter’s for Christmas Day, she just moved into a lovely new house and I get to play with my grandson all day.

I’m planning on Christmas being as Christmassy as normal.

As a person, he's irrelevant, it's the position he holds that's involved in the decisions, and he cannot make them on his own.

Blimey, that's an old one, and probably a bit inappropriate these days...

My daughter’s first “aware” Christmas, she’s so excited. My grandma is going to my parents’ house so we are staying at home just the three of us.

    I can’t wait.

Cottingham looks wonderful under the lights and there’s a lot of homes that have gone the extra mile this year to make it a bit more magical.

I usually can’t stand Christmas, but I’m actually looking forward to it this year.

Cottingham always looks wonderful. Even better when you're half pissed.

    Get the pubs open!!!!

It's probably a little bit sad of me, but I get a warm glow every time I see that one - our very own Princes Quay on a meme that went viral right around the world.

I noticed that. It must be around 3-4 hands long (12”-16”). Hardly massive. I’d smash it.

There’s a YouTube video that explains how food companies make their food look so appetising in adverts. You seriously wouldn’t want to eat an M & S chocolate cake from the advert.

Shops and pubs open here today in Cornwall. The shops have got the Christmas things in and apart from the masks it seems pretty normal. Sincerely hope that the tier 3 is reduced for you guys in two weeks. It’s nice to get in the pub for a drink.

Be a better Christmas to look forward too if we could go on a boozy trip to Sunderland on Boxing Day and come away with three points.
Instead I shall be in Richmond for the week.
