Was under impression you could only add emergency loans if you had space in squad. God knows though, the whole efl squad cap seems to be made up as they went along.
He’s registered https://www.efl.com/siteassets/image/202021/efl-professional-retain-list---2019-20.pdf
I'm confused. I thought he wasn't included in the squad that you had to declare at the beginning of the season, and didn't have a squad number. Was that a load of rubbish and even though we have a squad size limit, McGeady has always been in it? Weird. https://www-sunderlandecho-com.cdn....ist-and-theres-no-place-aiden-mcgeady-2972021
If McGeady is to return I hope he's made his peace with the likes of O'Nien who he's reportedly made feel like ****, apparently to the point of making him want to leave. I value him more than I do McGeady. He was a good player, a great player at times in his heyday but I don't think we need him now. We can set the team up with young and hungry players who can do the same job. On the other hand assuming he's not fat as **** he'll be bang up for proving people like me wrong and might be a weapon in the short term. Get the right manager in and I'm sure he'd behave himself.
Yeah that’s what I thought, there’s no confirmation whether that’s his Twitter (I’d be following if it was as I’m sad like that)
Might not have been but maybe you can replace injured players in the squad list if you have them registered as players at the club? We have quite a few out that we won't see for a few months yet so maybe he has come into the squad instead of them. I'm just guessing likes
It's a rule made up by the EFL so, chances are, you could register Mr Blobby and they wouldn't find out for 6 years!
Maybe so - but his instagram page states the following: Aiden McGeady 27 years old. Playing MDF in Spartak Moscow. National team is Ireland. So not sure it's been used for a while!
