Disgusted my ice cream fing got no love. Took me like 3 mins to make, cutting up the pineapple and shaving the vanilla. Dicks
Looking to shift a few kilos before the Xmas gluttony so been doing some very simple stews in the slow cooker. Just some chicken/turkey/lean pork, loads of veg, tinned tomatoes and then a ****load of chilli powder to the point that’s all you can taste. Would recommend.
Think your mistake was going for such a fancy name to two scoops of vanilla ice cream with a sliced tinned pineapple ring. "Deconstructed Pineapple cream ice with fresh vanilla shavings served in a sand goblet".
Just had a knock on the door. moral of story, don’t shop Black Friday when drinking. So I’m having a hangover for breakfast.
So what makes that rum black, is it just kept in the barrel longer or is something added to it, or a combination of both?
no idea. Not really a rum drinker. Was smashed, the delivery note say happy Xmas to me, from me. Also got a fire HD tablet, again can’t remember, that’s going back.
Nice! I do like to spice up a stew sometimes, I always use a few tablespoons of siraccha ketchup and a bit of brown sauce in a stew as standard, chilli powder has been known too. Although I prefer a more peppery hot in a stew as opposed to spicy. Pork and beef is a great combo for stew, ill just buy a gammon joint usually smoked and chunk it up with diced beef, lovely when it all falls apart. Ever tried mince meatballs in a stew? I'd recommend.
So some **** knocks on your door and manages to sell you a bottle of rum.? Tenner or less or you know the wrong kinda crackheads mate. Bin meaning to try that rum actually, I usually get a bottle of this for xmas https://www.laithwaites.co.uk/produ...Quo0X7w4vCIOQ-VzpUhoC5vMQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds but I've decided this Xmas I'm not drinking, bar perhaps a glass or two of baileys n crushed ice on Xmas day.
I asked myself that not long ago so.... For one, it's aged for much longer than white rums. The aging process takes place inside a well-charred barrel, where the molasses-based spirit takes on the smoky characteristics of its environment. The result is that black rum shares taste characteristics with your favorite whiskeys, but with a touch more sweetness.
