Midfield options are getting fewer again....defensive options were already limited.

This season is a massive challenge and January can’t come quick enough for me....we need to sign at least one CB....even if at a premium.

I don't see much drama here.

just need to get on with it now.

    Alisson
    williams Matip fabinho robertson
    Henderson wijnaldum
    Jota firmino mane
    Salah
Save the rubbish for later in the game and hope. Right now ajax need to win.

If you look critically at the group going into game 5 then you might expect that:

    a) ajax can expect that Atlanta will beat midtlylland so will be on 10 points

    b) Ajax can expect us to beat midtylland in game six getting to at minimum 12 points.

    c) if they don't win they can at best get to 8 points going into the final game. a draw is as good as a loss for them TBH.

    d) Ajax and atlanta drew in their first match a loss for ajax is not the end of their group as they play at home in last game v Atlanta where a win would then put them equal on 10 points but with a better result between the two.

Should Ajax win for us it means we will have two rivals on 10 points going into the last game. its impossible for both to then get to more than 11. so a win v the midgets will do us.

I would simply accept how rubbish williams is and put up with it under the instruction to jota to mind him all night.

We need a few subs (5 to be exact) but we are down to rhys williams, Tsimikas, origi, minamino jones.

IMO our approach ought to be to bring in jones for one of the front 4 and then look at what to do later on. I would plan the 3 subs windows with injuries in mind and be targetting bring rhys williams on, jones on and then the muck like origi and minamino for the last 10 just to run about as they are utterly useless.

Ideals we would be taking henderson off and matip off and even robertson but we will see.

I would prefer to win this group easily which is possible here by just winning this game and then going to midgetland with a terrible side and squeaking through.

We cannot afford not to win, but it is going to be difficult. Atalanta result is going to encourage Ajax,

Klopp mentions that Trent, Shaq and Naby are very close to returning. Would be a big boost to have all 3 back soon - doubt they will be available for Ajax but Wolves could be a possibility

Be good to have Trent back and Shaq was playing well when selected.

How many games before Keita is out again?

In a season where even our fittest players are going down like flies, to expect Naby to be fit is witchcraft.
