No. Whilst i like some SKA, it's all rather tame. I do like the the origins of it all, and there's a lot of confusion on how skinheads became attached to it.
True, it's an interesting genre. I'm not a huge fan as it's repetitive but when it's good it really is imo.
Which is why i swayed towards, skinhead, punk, oi etc. But these days i love finding some good old heavy metal stuff. Although my main love of music is psychobilly, a cross between rockabilly and punk....But i do spend a lot of time listening to other stuff... Killers, Muse etc.
The Grand Grandgraddy of Punk Rock...He was the first to use distorted power chords later used in Punk and Heavy Metal.
Finished watching a film and turned TV back on and Liam Gallagher is on Jonathan Ross and the guy is a complete ****. Embarrassing.
Never liked the bloke and has made a career out of imitating John Lennon's vocals on Rain (sunsheeeiiine).
It's fine having that **** you attitude when you're young and a rockstar but when you try acting like that when you're a bloke in his 40's and totally irrelevant to music you just look like a ****.
To be absolutely honest, Liam Gallagher has always only ever been a professional knobhead. His contribution to music is zero, anyone could have done what he did. I could have. I also can't sing or write music, but I do like to wear a cool looking coat. His brother at least can write half decent music and songs, and play guitar averagely. Liam Gallagher is just a big mouth ****.
Epic ever lasting songs. more than 5 or 6 minutes/ i just know someone will post post Thriller, but anymore?
This any good? Always reminds me of Christmas, I once bought Queen Greatest Hits for my Mum for Christmas and the album was a backdrop that morning. Was also a Christmas No.1 the year Mercury died. 91 was it? Or 92. Anyway, enjoy
