They can tell from blood tests. When you have brain fluid in your bloods that shouldn’t be there, I guess they’d have a clue. Whether it’s totally conclusive is a different matter but they can definitely measure it and if it’s there, it ‘could’ cause dementia later in life.
I see your point, but given Klopp's current mood, I doubt he'd take the competition seriously no matter who we drew.
Who cares about the FA Cup? Klopp has never taken it seriously and neither do a growing number of our fans.
We will completely change the team. That then runs the risk of an embarrassing loss to a lower league team. At least a prem team and one that d!cked us last time will be expected to beat the kids and we can brush it aside
Watkins arm is offside... because he’s wrestling to try and get the defender off him because he’s holding onto him. just don’t get how the forward is gaining an advantage from his sleeve being offside ffs
Defender (Rice, was it?) has a handful of shirt as he goes through - a little obscured from the camera's viewpoint but quite plain from the ref's I'd have thought. As for the disallowed goal - a lot of good football is coming to nothing because of this ridiculous obsession with an unobtainable level of precision. Having said that, I'm happy for Villa to drop points - there are enough teams in the mix as it is.
And that was the whole point of off-side when introduced but is now a total farce. Is a man off-side because he has a longer stride than his opponent or if he just happens to lean further forward when running or even wears bigger boots? And don't get me started on free kick off-sides, how can a striker standing still be gaining an unfair advantage when the defenders run away from where they know the ball is going? Absolute ****ing ****e.
Come on Saint. He had a tiny hole of the guys shirt, who then fell forward from being ‘pulled back’. Wasnt a tug or anything. Let’s see every time someone has hold of a shirt given as a free kick or pen in that case, let’s see some consistency.
Just need to get rid of it. Go watch rugby and see how they decide offsides. Had an example in final of rugby league at weekend, went to var, he looked at it with naked eye, made a judgement based on what he could see. No stupid lines, no 3 minute waiting, just one ref seeing if a clear or obvious error had be made. Offside is simple. Lino flags and says it was close best for var. ref says is there a clear reason why I shoukd overrule the Lino and give a goal... var looks at it with naked eye and with a 30 second limit says either - yup he’s clewrly onside give the goal. Or nope, it’s too tight so go with Lino. job done
I didn't award the pen - I'm just offering a reason for it. If I made up the rules things would be very different anyway.
Back on the day, before var came along and ****ed everything up, I used to rage at a bad descion maybe once every blue moon. Now, I dont even rage, its all sort of grey, slightly disappointing. Goal celebrations aren't what they where, the life time they take while viewing for any possible infringement has sucked the joy out of the main point of watching. The new rules and constant tinkering have made a poor situation even worse, but I suppose its what happens when you let men in tight ties start making descions about a fame they seem to have little love for.
Time limit on VAR, if they cant see or make a decision within a certain amount of time the game should carry on. It would stop the measuring of offsides that are being ruled out for a toe, shirt sleeve or nose. And after seeing the video still for Salah against Brighton and how blurry the pictures were I'm not sure they have the technology to do this measuring anyway. As for Penalties, take away VARs ability to 'give' them (calling refs over to the moniter implies a mistake from the get go). Review penalties that are given, which then can be reviewed by the refs if needs be. This leaves the decision in the hands of the ref.
