I’d take any of them personally. Think it’s more likely to be somebody I’ve never heard of

Stayed up all night to watch Tyson, was woken by the kids and dragged down stairs for a Sunday dinner at 16:30 and then this, what a day, but why the **** was a parky sacked thread merged with the takeover thread?

Realistic appointment for the next manager for me is Pearson and Phillips as no 2...cutting his teeth. If that doesn't happen then go get Paul Cook. Makes you think that he knew it was coming with his attitude and tone the last week or 2 and mcgeady getting included again

    Cook or Cowleys for me.

Cook tries to win every game so he’s my first choice.

This is more and more fitting in with @Smug in Boots snippet about doing everything in one go.

joint press conference introducing the new owner, new sporting director and new manager anyone?

Only the league average of 2k or whatever because he was already contracted to the club

Someone like Eddie Howe to build the club would be a good choice in my opinion.

Pearson for me I think of the names mentioned. He was my choice for the job before Parkinson got it. Someone who would raise the standards of the playing side and won't take any **** off the players

Ridiculous merge whoever did that by the way.

This was absolutely worthy of a separate thread.

Hopefully it'll be like when Coleman left, iirc that was announced shortly before a takeover.

My top choice, bit of a long shot but that's why he's my top choice.

For the first time all season I’m looking forward to the game on Tuesday. Knowing that Parkinson has gone and a new era is around the corner, the excitement is bubbling. A resounding win would be brilliant.

I’ll retain my real excitement till I know what’s next. We’ve had too much ****e following ****e, but .... this had to happen. He couldn’t get average players to win even against the below average sides and his negative demeanour and failure to feed our emerging youth players into the first team was very frustrating and backward.
