His corner told him he risks his career if that eye get burst open. Joyce deserved that, experience and a solid chin won the fight.
Joyce fought that really well. Had the slight reach advantage and used it to great effect. Established the jab early on, put Dubois on the back foot and his head movement was much better than it has been. Dubois' head movement was poor and his eye took a lot of damage.
He hit Joyce with shots that have knocked other men out. It's a bit different when the other man throws it back.
I'm impressed with Joyce's chin - he got knocked out twice as an amateur so I thought he might be chinny but he has eaten some big shots and stood up well. Dubois's eye looked really bad - am surprised the doctor didn't look at it more in the earlier rounds.

Joyce jabbed his head off. Dubois had **** all apart from 3 or 4 flurries of shots, when Joyce just took them he looked shook. Taking the knee shows he’s not got the heart for elite level imo. Piss poor
