Injuries & suspensions are screwing us again. No Maatsen or Smyth on Wednesday night. The reserve options don’t cut the mustard. Bowyer is off my Xmas card list if he messes about with that midfield v MK Dons.
I hope that Aneke can continue to play week in week out. I struggle to think of a bad touch from him today. Maybe that shot in the first half that he blazed over, passing to Smyth was probably the better option. I also hope that Bogle will now kick on in the absence of Smyth and Washington.

I think Morgan has only one fewer goal than Karlan Grant had after his first 50 games. We're proud of you Albie - keep on bringing pride to the shirt
If we get promoted we should be able to keep players like Albie now. Strange that Bowyer tried to loan him out earlier in the season but there were no takers. There will be soon enough, but they can feck off.
Tried to loan him out the non league as well... When the current crop of youngsters emerged ...Lapslie, Doughty, Davison, Vennings etc I posted at the time that IMO Albie is the most naturally talented. He’s far better technically than both Doughty & Lapslie.
You did indeed, and I also posted at the beginning of the season that he could be a very important player for us this season. He'll be even better with better players around him. It was a very good interview after the game, very generous tribute to both LBB and Jacko for helping him to improve his game, as well as Pratley. Seems to have the perfect attitude, which is what has put him ahead of Maddison in the pecking order.
