Cant remember when we had a more injury hit squad. Placheta as striker seems the only choice at the moment. This situation could hinder our chances of winning against both Coventry and Luton. It will be interesting to see how the uninjured players respond to the challenge. I suspect that both Stiepermann and Vrancic will be encouraged to have a shots at goal in support of Placheta.

I think I would prefer to see Stiepermann as the striker he's a pretty big unit

That would be my choice, stick Stieps up top as a target man. Will help with McGovern’s style of distribution too.

For once it's not our CB ranks causing the headache.

No, ironically it's virtually every position BUT CB.
No LB, no striker and only 2nd or 3rd choice GK <wah>

There's already a thread called 'beer and chips'.
As Enid is the tea lady - food and drink related, can I suggest you post on there instead

I think most of our loan agreements this year have January break clauses, but are season long loans. It's a bit awkward as we're desperately short on players for December, then should have them returning from injury in January.

Seen a suggestion that our side today might favour youth, over playing people out of position...I guess we shall see shortly!

McAlear was in the squad last game and I'm guessing left back Nizet could he an option after scoring 2 great goals and forward Omotoye but he's only scored 3 in 8 for the U23's Dickson Peters is another forward banging on the proverbial door.
