I’ve had enough of this knee jerk ****.

Warnock is the best manager we have had for years – no question. He is not perfect, he will get things wrong, so what’s new?

The team needs time to bed in. We have a virtually brand new team, many of them are still learning the system, it will go wrong.

We have some very good players, and some average ones. They have good and bad games. Last season we got away with a lot of the bad days, this season we will not.

We have some fantastic supporters, as the Fulham game demonstrated, but also some idiots with very short memories.

I think I’m going to take advantage of the international break and leave you all to sort it out, I’m sick of this knee jerk **** some on this board spout.

Clive LFW: also a good post
    =============
Amazing what one result can do. Five days ago we'd battered newcastle, battered wolves and dominated aston villa (all established premiership clubs) and we were talking about how far we could go, how good all our players were etc etc. One match, against a very good fulham side (becoming European regulars, top half of the table finishes last couple of years) and now it's all changed. The overreaction to results both good and bad everywhere in football, but especially on here, is staggering. There once was a time where you'd go eight or nine matches without a win before anybody said anything about it and now every win is worthy of a trophy and every defeat a pre-curser to certain relegation. One week ago Faurlin's Argentina call up was only a matter of time, now some aren't even sure if he should be in our team. Same with Derry, Barton, Taarabt etc. After a win they're Gods, after a defeat they're amateurs.

Sunday told us nothing we don't know already:
1 - We have an adequate starting 11
2 - We have almost literally nothing beyond that.

Therefore when you take out one player it weakens us more than most other clubs because once you go beyond the 13th member of our squad we're not good enough. When you take out two players we're in trouble. When you take two players out of the same area of the pitch (i.e. Gabbidon and Traore on Sunday) then we're fcked.

We could do with better players in most positions but we've only been here for seven matches. We're extremely and unusually short of strength in depth. At the moment that's all I think it is. If we go without a win for our next five or six games then I'll reassess but at the moment how about we all try and stay a bit calm and don't hang or crown our players and team on one result every bloody week?

Very true...well said. To get on Warnock's back now is just stupid considering all he has done to build the team, and move us forward. Inevitably while we develop as a team there will be bad days...but I'd far rather be developing with bad days than lingering in the Championship year after year with no ambition.

Very well put Roller and Clive. But this forum would be boring if we all just agreed with each other all the time.

The sooner we realise we dont have a divne right to success in this division, the better for al of us. There are established PL teams who get beat (Arsenal humped 8-2, Stoke beaten by "lowly" Swansea, I could go on) but we dont hear them crucifying the whole team and management structure. if NW and co can't finish 17th or better and retain our PL status, then that is the time to start shouting, until then I will be backing my club and shouting.COYRsssssss!!!!!!!!!

    Hi All,

I’ m back from myself imposed week long exile. Having had a quick scan through the forum I think I’m right in saying that the anti-Warnock brigade have gone and everyone now hates Barton! The only constant is time.....

Read loftforwords article before i read your thread roller, both spot on, refreshing to see some sence put into words. Good post!

Couldn't bother posting this week with all the doom and gloom on various forums, get real everyone, whatever happens this season we will know that everything has been done to ensure we succeed. If the worst happens and we go down (knock on wood) we just have to plug away and try to get back in it again. I'm here for the ride, i suggest we all enjoy it while it last.

I had a bit of a knee jerk reaction earlier tonight.
But it had nothing to do with QPR...

I was standing at the bar, when this gorgeous big boobed blonde came
    up to me,

'' Would you like me to get you a drink? '' she asked,

    '' Aren't you being a bit forward? '' I replied.

'' No, not really, i'm the barmaid. It's my job. ''

Anyway that aside, great words Roller, great words indeed.
